Yeah, I hope so. Because I am so sick of modern dramas nowadays, so cliche and stupid. So, I come to this expecting something that requires brain. So far, it does puzzle me and I am super interested in the storyline, less to the romance though.

Yeah, don’t worry about it. Sometimes a drama is big mostly because the company behind it has huge budget to promote it. So, it is everywhere in the social media, the actor/actress attending many shows and fans meet etc. and usually this is for cliche romance drama targeting hopeless romantic who just want simple story with ML and FL being all lovey dovey.

I also feel this. As for FL, it was just one accidental hug and she fell for him. But I guess this is typical historical drama, you accidentally touch each other and then you fall in love.

Well, this concern is there too, which I also have it. So, basically we have all the possible risks right now. That’s why I have come to a point to just accept if it is Aug or later. Just like we can’t force tencent to air it when they don’t want it, we also can’t force tencent not to air it when they want it.

Haha, why don’t you post here one or two scenes you want to talk about? So we can make this comment section more lively with hyx instead of rumors and worries…

Because we all know how the novel is. Hyx basically has all the things easily get banned: bromance, gore, violence, transmigration, you name it!
And we don’t know how they put these all on screen as a lot of these are the soul of the story so we hope the drama stays true to the novel but at the same time hope it does not to avoid getting banned. And now with ZZH case, the whole thing happened years ago and he did just fine. Why, after he got all the popularity from WoH (and we know how WoH ‘openly’ showed the bromance), this suddenly was not okay and he got banned. So, we can’t avoid to connect all this with the fact that many antis intentionally attacked BL related drama. And then added by a rumor saying the whole WoH takedown was tencent’s doing in preparation to air Immortality, thus creating a possible dispute where WoH fans may blame Immortality (although I am pretty sure WoH fans are mostly Hyx fans too). All in all, it is a possible chaos between fans and this can be used to report Immortality to authority and authority might decide to take it down (during airing!).
