I liked LiQin, but somehow after watching her in this drama (only managed to watch till ep 15 though as I really can’t take it anymore), I just stop liking her. I shouldn’t have even started this drama 😞

I always did for every drama except the long ballad where the 2nd couple actually won my heart over the main couple. And Ms Crow & Mr Lizard where the 2nd couple were not so redundant and annoying.
I dun understand though, why there has to be a second couple in every c drama…I never watch k drama or j drama, are they the same?

I just watched ep 2, I think he intentionally approached her for his hidden motive so up to ep 2, I still didn’t feel he was falling for her, could clearly feel he only wanted to take advantage of getting closed to her.

Yeah, I understand the concept, but as you said, what’s hard for be to be accepted is how they explain how BJ managed to gather the soul. Both Hongri and Gujun literally vanished, and I saw no glimpse of scene where BJ did anything at all, and now suddenly their soul were gathered 😞

It’s hard, I really think they should not release it unless they can change the ML. Regardless how much we want to watch, or how much we appreciate the hard work of the rest of the crews, we dun want to torture the victims and their family to have to see him on screen, on pages etc…and for the victim, knowing his work being broadcasted the whole region will hurt them even though they are not watching.

It got me thinking…so, if golden hairpin is not dropped…this was not even scheduled to air in aug??? I hope that’s not the case, otherwise they will rush to finish the editing and it might risk having flaw in the show…

I guess it’s a good decision I dropped this. Basically, it was good until ZenRong died and misunderstanding was cleared. They should have ended the series there, so both xiaosu and yuzheng go their own path, the end. I couldn’t take it anymore after ep 15, and wondering if I should continue, but reading this…I guess nope.

Yes, basically shanggu and tianqi were explained, shanggu’s one is basically the center of the story. Although it hurts, but it will be good if they stay at that instead of adding up hongri and gujun. The moment I saw gujun was saved, I was like ‘wth?’, it’s just so ‘forcefully made to be happy ending’ without giving us enough logical explanation how it happened. And it ruined the other concept, it suddenly gave me the ‘non sense’ feeling over the whole story. If it’s gonna be that ‘nonsense’ then they might as well suddenly make yuemi, zihan, muguang, snow goddess and all the died gods to re-appear 😞…I dunno, for me the part ‘gujun’ was saved really ruin everything…I love gujun, dun get me wrong, but after they made me heartbroken to see him gone and now u simply just told me he was back without any good explanation how…it is not satisfying at all. If u dun want certain characters to die so u dun disappoint viewers, then dun let them die at the first place, dun correct the situation simply by creating a new rule saying soul is found, can be reborn or other nonsense 😞

Yes, and BJ managed to find all the souls: shanggu, tianqi, hongri, even gujun…and yet during all those scenes, we saw all them died and disappeared for good. I know we all want a happy ending, and I’m glad hongri and gujun can be reborn, but too many souls were saved without any efforts, now it started to be ‘unbelievable’…

I don’t hate him. I am just saying, can they go and experiment with new comers on other series please…but not this one. We just love XieLian too much to take a risk…

That’s not my point. My point is, the story can go as crazy and as heartbreaking as they like, and they can simply just say ‘these souls are saved, can rebirth etc’ to save the day. Which is not a satisfying ‘happy ending’, it needs to have a good explanation and process…

Immortality will be dubbed, right? I really like LYX’s voice in AOL, the dubbed version made his voice so clear, deep and argggghh…no words can explain!

Please carry on, it’s only 2 episodes…at least for the sake of your obsession to CWN, please give it more time to develop 😂

One thing that is off for me from the overall story is: BJ seems to be able to make everyone who died in front of him to live again such as TianQi, Shanggu, Hongri and now Gujun.
Look at what happened to those who died in front of TianQi: Yuemi, Zihan…
