Well, english pronounciation is hard for chinese tongue, just like the other way around. I personally think it’s ok, there is no requirement for these actors/actresses to speak english, so that should not limit the casting. But, at least get it dubbed or something, to make it more believable. But anyway, it’s just a small detail, totally forgivable considering the whole episode 1 is great :)

That’s also why I start to dislike the 2nd couple, because from 1st episode, they seem to be regular ‘cute’ & ‘sweet’ couple in c drama, and this kinda ruin the overall atmosphere of the drama. I hope I’m wrong, and the drama maintain the ‘intense’ aura consistently across each role…

Well, I would be depressed too if I were the FL. After the racism treatment, she had to return to china and let go of all the great facility for research she got abroad and work in this new lab in china where the culture is totally different: she had to start by reading for so many days! Need to imagine being a researcher, who had done experiments abroad and now being treated like a student who were asked to only read’. While for ML, he definitely has a lot in his mind, things we are not clear yet at this moment. But I do enjoy it, I have got too many ‘sweet’ and ‘cute’ c drama, so this one looks ‘serious’ and ‘intense’…so, a different taste for me…

Although it looks weird to me that FL used chinese to talk to the professor who used english, considering she had been working abroad since graduate (why dun they just dub it)…but the foreigners here can act…unlike 1st episode of Tears in Heaven which was set ‘abroad’ but the foreigners they casted were horrible to the max in their acting. But overall, I have a good feeling that this drama will offer a different style like regular c drama…
