So, seeing houchi was dying, not knowing there was still hope since he didn’t know gujun had shanggu’s original power, and realized it was not only houchi but there was his baby too…and yet he still stood there not doing anything…I just couldn’t understand…

Oh, did I understand it wrong then? Because the way I see it, houchi was indeed dying, her spiritual vein was destroyed therefore she couldn’t continue housing the baby’s life. And when Gujun asked TQ if he could save her, TQ said even the ancestral god couldn’t…and they referred to houchi, not the baby. And the fact that BJ was not aware Gujun had Shanggu original power, it meant he wouldn’t predict houchi still could be saved…

Well, a normal reaction would be like TQ, trying to transfer as much power as possible to delay and probably take the last min to explain so at least HC won’t die not knowing she still has his love…

Ok, I know there has been a debate about how much BJ suffered, how much HC suffered etc, not trying to compare who suffered the most because basically the both suffered. But I still can’t agree and really hate ep. 41 scene when BJ just stood there seeing HC is dying. I know he has a grand plan, I know he is trying to hold his emotion to trick wuhuan etc, but please man, the only person u sacrifice for, the only person u are trying to save…is dying in front of u! So at that very second, what’s the point of keeping ur grande plan, what’s the point of trying to hide ur memory to wuhuan…if she is in the end dead! Even until very last min before Gujun did something, BJ was still just standing there crying doing nothing! So, he seems to stick to his plan regardless HC alive or dead…make me wonder, does he really do all this to save HC…

I am towards the end of the book, and I hate how it made CWN so weak and helpless :(
Btw, please tell me that all this is not caused only by ShiMei’s obsession to CWN, please tell me there is a more reasonable driver behind all this?

Ooh, it’s him! The order of the casts are so messy. Poor Leon Lai, although he played an important role and is main support, Gu Jun screen time is actually very short.

1. Yes, he likes the FL. But their relationship won’t turn ugly, in fact their relationship is the safest and relaxing one which means u dun need to worry they will hate or harm each other, because these two trust and support each other no matter what. Although it’s not a romantic relationship, I think u will still enjoy it.
2. Seems like they will end up together, but u need to keep ur definition of happy ending as wide as possible.
3. There is but may not be like what u expected. ML & FL basically are quite firm in their feelings to each other so the 3rd party never got any chance. So, there won’t be heavy, frustrating misunderstanding or jealousy due to 3rd party.
4. Not slow, but the romance development makes a lot of sense so u won’t fell they fall so easily or too fast.

All in one, hard to really give a straight yes or no to ur questions. If u like reincarnation, romance that involve going to a few different lifetime, etc…u will like this. Give it a try!

Yeah, they changed Cheng character in an instant from cool, mature, professional guy into a guy acting like teenager begging for hugs and kisses. It just hurts me to see his character destroyed in an instant :(

I normally looked forward for new episodes and really excited…but these past 2 weeks I have to force myself to watch…so, should I drop it?

I was so into this drama at the beginning, but starting ep 22 onwards it took me 2 weeks to complete 3 more episodes. I feel like the rhythm has gone really slow and boring after they got together…it’s all about them being affectionate to each other, and I slowly lose interest. Anybody feels the same? Will there be any more interesting things to look for in the next episodes?
