Actually I don’t understand, from the very beginning, the phoenix queen soul returned by shanggu was fake right? There was a scene where she said even after 1000yrs she wouldn’t be reborn coz that soul was fake…i am lost…

Lucky you are not in this industry, otherwise it is hard enough for them to be discriminated by their look and size, not to mention now by chinese zodiac 😂. So, following ur logic, if we are about to make a comedy drama of a couple…they should at least be on the same age or 12yrs different 😂. Anyway, it’s okay if u are superstitious, it’s okay if u have ur theory, but it is not okay to throw harsh and stupid comment on a person. I didn’t rate ALP until this morning too! I didn’t even rate my fav drama AOL until this morning 😂. I watched so many drama but not all are on my watchlist or rated, mainly because this MDL site is hard to use on mobile, so I mainly just actively comment on shows. But, if u saw all her comments, she is not a hater, she is just TQ’s fan…no slandering really.

No, I believe eliteles1 is not a hater. Actually, it is easier to play a role like Tianqi because he is active, expressive and quite straight forward in his feeling. So it is also easier for audience to understand him and then either like his character or not. Then we will think the actor is good (I agree too). Plus she is Liu Xue Yi’s fan, so understandable!
BJ and QM are more difficult roles to play due to the nature of their characters, maybe QM is easier, he is quite innocent make him quite straight forward as well, thus, many will think XuKai played QM better. Basically the easier we read the character, the easier we fall for the roles (eg. Wuhuan, we all can read her and quickly develop hatred for her).
While for @jupiterrule, did u guys read his comment saying ALP is not watchable because of ML but then he described how ML only hugged, and no romance even until ep 38 and more? Haha, if ML not watchable u should either stop watching or fast forward the ML scenes! Why did u pay attention so much to ML then? I guess this person might be a guy who envies XuKai look but can’t stop looking while hoping he would at least get a bit of his handsomeness 😂

Haha, ok, I think I really get the totally opposite impression from what you got. It’s hard and troublesome to explain by texting, but I truly cannot relate to your thoughts above. The only impression lingering for me after so long is how useless crown prince was, and how I wished the FL would just end up with her teacher. Anyway, it still means it was a good drama which is able to bring up debate after so long. Let’s just call this ‘different opinion’ then :)

Yes, but still…that part where the ML decided to dig her eyes out…just unforgivable for me. If that’s ur way of seeing it, then the FL had to also thank and be grateful to that lady who took her eyes? The way I see it, their evil acts are theirs, it’s independent of that ‘destiny’ or ‘need of tribulation’.

I totally agree with you. I also had a hard time forgiving ML, and actually prefer FL to abandon him forever. Come on, what kind of man would dig out his wife eyes under any circumstances?? And even after knowing, he didn’t have the gut to tell the FL and return back the eyes! Arghh, u guys made me remember that story again and I’m so pissed, haha. She did have to suffer for tribulation, but whatever ML did to her when she was a weak human was ML’s own decision, not like he did that intentionally knowing he would help her became goddess. So, he wasn’t a decent man or husband in my opinion…

How would you feel if the spin-off (Xue Meng & Mei Hanxue) is released first 😂

Actually these 3 main leads in AOL really played it well, u can basically feel the chemistry between them: Xufeng & Runyu broken brotherhood where u can really feel the distance building up, Xufeng & Jinmi slow and natural love development, Runyu’s silent yearning for Jinmi which eventually grew to obsession and Jinmi’s pure care and respectful friendship for Runyu…perfect for me!
I dunno, maybe I was missing something, but I just didn’t enjoy watching Xuanji in L&R…something is just off for me, but this is purely personal…so, of course not objective 🙂

You know, all in one, I guess these true gods finally understand why xuanyi rebelled. In a way, both BJ and TQ also rebelled. Easy to expect someone they dun care that much (Xuanyi) to sacrifice, but then when it comes to someone they really care (shanggu), turn out they are against the sacrifice for greater cause…

Ashes of love will always be my no 1! I think there is no other xianxia drama that successfully built up a good and strong love development like Jinmi and Xufeng, making audience really feel the depth of their connection. I don’t like L&R though, mostly because of the FL…

who knows? Maybe all she cares is fame, position, respect…so doesn’t matter if she dies as long as the whole realm worships her as savior, haha. And funny how we all marked this imaginary ending as spoiler 😂
