Yeah, but reading most spoilers here, it looks like the happy ending will be just a short part of last episode where they return from death…which is absurd for me :(

Why do I have a feeling that the ending will be disappointing…I dun like the whole return or rebirth thing…it’s no longer the same ☹️

Ok, if this is happening, if TQ died in wuhuan’s hands, no matter how happy ending the drama is, or how horrible the punishment wuhuan gets, or even TQ will be reborn or whatsoever…I will really feel disappointed with ALP.

That’s why I once said I hated him more than wuhuan. At least wuhuan has ambition and works her ass for it, while mu guang either just gave tasks to others and when things went wrong, he just stood there be a stone.

Me too! For me, I can take my own decision, you dun need to lie or hide something from me and then take the decision urself. But a lot of c-drama are like this, even modern ones. I guess if all couples are so honest and live-die together, the drama will be boring and rating will be low…

Well, this is what proves an interesting story: a debate over our own personal preference of pain. U think this indirect pain is a ‘better’ pain, but for me…losing QM without the chance to say goodbye, with him not knowing he had a child, knowing he must be unwilling to leave etc…it will forever haunt houchi. The key to letting go the past is about closure. That’s why it is generally harder for us human to move on from losing our loved one who died suddenly due to accident than losing our loved one who has been sick and dying. The latter gives us closure that we have done our best, spent our time and eventually able to let go. Anyway, they are not human, they are gods, haha! But bottom line is, for both u and I to spend time typing and discussing like this, this drama is definitely not crappy :)

Okay, I think in order for us to talk the same wavelength here, we need to be clear on the time period. I am looking at the time period where houchi is houchi and BJ is BJ with memory of QM. At that time, BJ didn’t expect shanggu to ever wake up as shanggu, he wanted shanggu to stay as houchi, without any god of chaos power, live just as a normal immortal. And he wanted houchi to never remember her role to sacrifice, never remember her feeling for BJ, so basically he wanted houchi to be houchi. So, at time time when he chose to be cold so houchi won’t feel pain of losing him during his sacrifice later, he already made her felt the pain of losing QM. That’s what I said ‘doesn’t add up’. Don’t look at it as the overall timeline, of course in the end shanggu wakes up etc, but at that specific moment, BJ didn’t know that would happen yet…so I’m referring to BJ decision process during that period of time. In order to prevent houchi to feel pain of losing him during his sacrifice, he made houchi felt pain losing him as QM. And he is in the state of mind that has both his memory as QM and BJ while knowing houchi only has houchi memory, so in the end he still made her feel that pain.

In my personal thought, I think QM and BJ are the same. If QM knew all the history and the whole god of chaos sacrifice etc, I think QM would still come out with the same plan. The difference is, he might choose to spend the remaining time he has with houchi. BJ chose to be cold because he had experienced the pain of losing shanggu, and he didn’t want houchi to get attached to him.

I totally understand the whole plan BJ had, but I’m just saying now the thing had turned this way, and he kept his plan to avoid Houchi felt pain of losing someone she loved, it just didn’t add up anymore. If he kept his plan, meaning he wouldn’t admit he was QM and had QM’s memory, thus making houchi thought QM had truly gone. So, it doesn’t matter if the truth is BJ is QM, because that wasn’t the truth Houchi was told, so she basically lived feeling all the pain until she died. So, what’s the point…

But actually, the logic doesn’t add up, no? Houchi already exposed to that feeling of losing someone she loved because qingmu was gone forever. So, it is already too late, she was already put in such situation. So, BJ might as well continue being QM until he sacrificied and died, because in the end Houchi still has to face it either now or later.

Wait, what?? How is Shi Mei also Hua Binan? I’m so confused 😞

Actually the best scenario would be wuhuan to serve the lowest immortal or even human realm as slave…because I think all she cares about is her dignity…to be killed or to serve high position god is too good..

Indeed, the wigs just make his baby face looks chubby! So different from his look in Falling into ur smile! But again, it doesn’t matter!!! His acting is what matters!

Plus standing together with ZDY who has a tiny body, he looked even bigger. To be honest, he did look ‘fatter’, not sure if it is the editing or clothing…but real XuKai indeed is not this ‘fat’. But regardless, even so, his acting is great!

Fengran and Jingjian really reminded me of Jinmi and Xufeng. It’s an almost impossible story for them, knowing Fengran’s parents were killed by Jingjian’s mother. Actually, I think wuhuan has to die in Fengran’s hands…she deserves to torture wuhuan more than shanggu…

And yet can u believe there are people who said Xukai cannot act? If u look at BJ’s face expression, that’s high level acting!
Yeah, I wonder why she didn’t stab Wuhuan in anger…but then again if she did, I would be disappointed too if wuhuan died just like that without any prolonged torture 😂

Wait, how is it possible? I thought their part was important? And somehow their relationship might be similar to Moran-Wanning?

Why there is no cast playing Luo Fenghua? I am a bit lost in the book, can somebody explain so what exactly happened between Xu Shuanglin and Luo Fenghua in the past?

Did u guys notice that the emperor and empress dun seem to share the same room/bed?
