I saw your synopsis! I think this book is very difficult to be put into screen. I found it hard to follow especially if there are time travel aspect of it. So, without the help of a good synopsis, if I don’t read the book, I might be lost watching the show…

Haha, I think we are normal. Her look is really not the typical goddess look, and the fact that she is so tiny, all those big elegant glamorous clothings just swallow her in so they can’t really use such massive clothing to her as well. I am a bit neutral to her acting, still wait and see, probably haven’t seen massive emotional scene yet to see her acting skill…

I feel the same, and I think a lot other people think so because I heard there are many comments slandering her. But I won’t slander her just because her physical look doesn’t meet my expectation, everyone has different preference anyway. But I admit it is hard to relate since the drama positioned her as beauty and elegant, but her look just doesn’t fit. But I heard the book doesn’t position her that way, but more like average which fits better.
TQ was with her for 10k years lol. That’s literally her whole life 🤣
Then the same goes for Tianqi no? Makes more sense for him to consider Shanggu as family…anyway, I do like the storyline, it’s just that if they can show more of Tiangqi-Shanggu moments other than ‘chasing each other under the trees’ scenes, it will help me to grow the understanding of Tianqi’s feeling.

So, when did Tianqi knew about the need of sacrifice? Actually I dun understand, he is all crazy about Shanggu and willing to sacrifice everything for her. But when he chose to sacrifice his people, how did his people agree and support him for the sake of his love life? I believe his people might expect him to protect his kin no? Considering he is god… Also, maybe the series needs more time to show how he grew affection for Shanggu, because it wasn’t convincing enough for me to understand his deep feeling based on a few ‘chasing each other under tress’ scenes…so, hard for me assume he loved Shanggu that much…
