Second couple are the bird lady right? Actually, even up to now I already feel the 2nd couple story wil be better. The main couple is seriously the most boring couple in the whole c drama history, all they did were just talking, walking, looking at each other etc…plus I dun like the ML acting…he is like Hu Yi Tian at his beginning works, so awkward and lost…even HYT did better. Sorry, no hatred, just my personal opinion…

At episode 5 and this is boring as hell…I literally watch while playing games. If after this far I still can’t have any interest, do you think I should hold on and continue? The main couple is super boring, took so many episodes for us to just see them walking around? Is this gonna be the speed of total story? Please somebody give me a fair and helpful advice (not subjective)…

Oh, this can be connected to Ashes of Love becoz the heavenly empress there was also from bird clan (phoenix as well?), haha. Why in most of these movies, heavenly empress is always evil…

Haha, I love LYX, can’t wait for HYX! Yeah, although I like Ashes of Love, I dun like Love & Redemption…but maybe just because I dun like the FL. I watched Long Ballad but I fast forward the main couple and only focus on 2nd couple…haha, I guess I tend to only be able to follow one couple story, I cannot handle more than 1 pair…

Just stick with it, eventually she will become ‘normal’ and starts to show emotion and feeling. I actually fast forward the 2nd couple story to save time because it literally took almost half of the series. But overall, the story is really good.

You mean showing now? I currently only watch this…and started Miss the Dragon just to fill in while waiting for Ancient Love Poetry new episodes. Overall, I actually started watching C-drama when I first watched Ashes of Love. I guess that’s why I like this one because it lets me reminisce my memory of Ashes of Love, haha.

I am so happy to see Xu Kai in 3 dramas this year…hope She and her Perfect Husband is showing after this…

Oh, I was actually referring to Tianqi…but yeah, I know Shanggu will die, clearly stated in the drama synopsis. Wait, how the re-born works? So, there will be a new devil god but it will not be Tianqi? So, Tianqi will be born as someone else?

Wait…rule of thumb is: all these 4 true gods basically will be born again if they die, correct?

My advice for you in two words: watch it!

I think she basically just needs to be acknowledged, she wants to change her ‘low’ status by making way up so people won’t underestimate her anymore. I just took her as a very smart and scheming person, so it just doesn’t add up when she is easily manipulated by snow god who was just no brainer kind of evil.

Oh, did people really stop watching because it’s boring? I stopped watching at ep 3 when it was first showed, just because I liked it so much I was so afraid if I watched all 8 ep I would have none for the weekends! Am I weird?

Yes, Xu Kai did great. In fact if you said ML always showed similar facial expression, FL is the same. She always use the same smiley, laughing, ‘naughty’ expression all the time…but those are just their cheracters. I think the fact that FL face looks much older than ML makes it difficult for Xukai face to fit into this old god image…as I said in my other comments, lucky the FL has a tiny body to help her looks young. But overall, I think XuKai didn’t disappoint.

Hey, I do like the cold one too. Actually Runyu is! Remember he was the one nobody can ever get closed to? I love Luo Yunxi ever since! Yes, that Yin Yang Master is definitely not enough Deng Lun for me. Do you watch his fun shows: Go Fighting or Great Escape? So hilarious, I just can no longer remember Xufeng anymore!

Haha, come on! Who didn’t fall for Runyu, he was so sweet and warm…he was just hurt so badly and he did right, the emperor and empress needed to be de-throned! But yes, Jinmi and Xufeng were a better fit, I admit. I just watched too many Go Fighting and Great Escape and Deng Lun has destroyed the whole XuFeng image in my mind, haha. I wish to see him in drama again…

I know, right? I also posted regarding how tiny the FL posture is…making me feel like looking at 15yo girl dating an adult…it bothers me a bit but lucky the FL has mature face (definitely her face is not like a teenager)…I dunno why, she is not pretty per se, but her smile is very nice, I like seeing it. Xu Kai’s smile is always gonna be a ‘naughty’ smile, making him fits into more playful character. But I also like him cold like this :)

Haha, to be honest I did hope for Runyu and Jinmi too since I just can’t help to feel the need to see him with a happy ending…

Is the FL posture really small or this is edited to emphasize that she is still very young in the early episodes? Because when I watched short trailer before, I didn’t realize how small she was compared to Xukai. But watching the first 3 eps, I really feel she is so tiny and somehow Xukai is so big…making her looks like a 15yo body.

Whoa, my feeling exactly! I’ve been longing for similar feel towards the couple like I felt in ashes of loves and somehow that longing is fulfilled when I watch this…

C-drama only. Actually I don’t have anything specific, I like those with great cinematography. I watch costume drama too, and I see Ancient Love Poetry is showing today? I tend to watch those with familiar faces, and lucky I start to know quite a lot chinese actors and actress. The most recent I watched and I liked was Mr lizard and Ms Crow which was not too heavy with good editing. I tried watching Eternal Love, but I just don’t like Liang Jie (sorry, this is purely personal preference) so I can’t stand seeing her all over.
