Is there a translated novel in a downloadable file like pdf or epub or anything? I want to read but I want to just put it into my kindle instead of reading online…
Is this drama worth watching? I am only on episode 1, like 15 min, but I already cannot stand the cinematography. The whole set looked so fake, the building the floor everything looked like a big house decorated with wallpaper. Pls tell me they will not ‘pretend’ to be abroad the whole time? And I also cannot stand the westerners, their acting were really bad. Did they just randomly pick any westerners in China to take part or what?
You guys see the ‘coming soon’ list in Tencent and WeTV? Even those drama just recently wrapped up like Who Rules the World is put out on the list already! Even The Longest Promise which is said to be currently filming…arrgh, pissed me off so much!

I think you misunderstood. I am not saying they have to fight like crazy for their loves, against all the culture and rules, to show the chemistry; I am just saying this drama is lack the ‘fall-in-love’ moments that make u feel their feelings are real. Despite being 19, Furou is supposed to have this mature personality allowing her to have such courage, understanding, agility...but it just doesn’t add up when it comes to her way in ‘feeling’ and ‘relationship’. I wonder if the book is written better in expressing the depth of feelings each couple has, with a good background story.

In my opinion, all the couples in this drama don’t have any chemistry. But basically because the story behind their relationship is never strong, I never remember any ‘deep’ moment where they fell in love. ChuMu fell for Furou just like that, and Furou fell for Chumu...when? And how? I dun even remember. And Luying ying fell for Yanzifang...over a pearl?? Then she fell for King Liang despite his evil? Then Fuyin for LuQi...even nothing could make sense of it. Maybe the only making sense are ChuLing and princess, and probably ChuJun and crown princess’ sister...but those are more like puppy loves...so, I never expect to see any love chemistry
hmm so they scrapped lot of scenes in-between EP 51-55 to wrap it under 55episodes what a-great editing they left…
I read all the comments here and made me realize ‘oh I didn’t miss any scenes, I just need to imagine those scenes myself coz they cut those scenes’ Why do they have to rush though, I mean they have come to 55ep, adding another 2-3 won’t make any difference...even if they wanna cut, why on Xu Kai, his part is already short enough the whole series!!!
One of the minister basically said ‘crown prince is evil, king han is evil...both are sons of late empress...who knows what kind of evil king qin will be’...basically cursing the late empress, and I wonder how he wasn’t punished or how the emperor was cool about it :D

Not strong enough I guess. She came to drink and accompany him when his teacher died, she talked to him regarding her personal feeling including her feeling to chumu, and her asking 3rd prince help to speak for chumu doesn’t make sense. As if she just made an excuse to approach him and made him jealous, haha. Sorry, I’m so pissed with furou now, I might be bias.
