Exactly right??? I wanted to cry so badly...especially after watching the donghua and both XL and HC were awesomely beautiful in donghua 😭 I mean, honestly, I didn't even pay attention to who the actors were...I was so disappointed with the costumes that I didn't want to see any leaks anymore!

I have to admit that I am guilty of this too! I mean, TGCF is such a huge novel, those who read it will take it seriously and will love the novel like crazy, including me. And Xie Lian is so iconic, you want it to be portrayed by the best, the most perfect man ever exist in this world! But what really turned me off was the costume! I mean, the first time I saw the photo of ZXW wearing that white costume with that white cloth on his neck...I felt like my Xie Lian had been abused, I wanted to cry 😭😭😭
