Wow, this is interesting. I hardly remember the details in WoH, it has been a while. But honestly, I don't think GuXiang has challenged it enough to overthrow the stereotype. I always saw her as an innocent girl, who didn't really understand how the world worked, therefor she didn't really get affected much. And most of the drive came from WKX and people around her instead of from her own self...and she took over the drive and acted on it, at least she owned the action.
