Well, I have no idea what the story of this one is...never read the novel and the synopsis didn't look reliable. But it seems to be one of big projects from Tencent. If it is big project from the penguin, yeah, I want LYX in it, haha... Yeah, I heard about the modern drama with Shen Yue, but I hope that's just rumor...I want him more in costume drama, hahaha...I am selfish!!!
Also, Su Yuehua is so beautiful...her smile is truly truly beautiful. The 4 female characters in this drama are really strong, really showing such great development: 1. Yin ZiPing 2. Empress Hu 3. Su YueHua 4. Yao Zijin
This is a very very beautiful drama, I really hope it could get into the right audience now that the proper English…
I specially felt the most during that scene when the Empress Hu woke up and smiled when she looked at Zijin. Empress Hu's smile was so 'joyful', an expression of a happiness she probably felt for the first time knowing she was not alone...that someone actually really was there for her, not because they had to. And that expression in Zijin when she saw her awake, was like a pure 'relief', and all these are from these 2 women who were not even best friend to each other!
Also, the whole ending for ZiPing was so on-point, out of my expectation...I thought the best happy ending for her was to become a minister...but yeah, they did give her a better ending...give both her and Zijin a better ending. For her to travel the world, to see what Zijin couldn't see...man, this is a very beautiful friendship indeed!
