If I imagine myself as a hairdresser, I will really struggle to tell whether certain client needs me to be friendly and talkative, or needs me to mind my own business. I mean, I am the type of client who will prefer my hairdresser to just focus on doing her/his job, don't ask my personal stuffs...just talk to me when it is related to my hair...I am that private omg. And usually I will bring a book or a gadget to play games to indicate that...because once she/he started a conversation, I felt rude not to be engaged...but I also felt weird discussing in public...haha
But I guess it worked the opposite for you. If you got a talkative client who kept talking stuffs you didn't like...I guess it must be really awkward and annoying...
