Like I said, I need an external force to force myself...so I actually sign up for classes for this purpose...I can do self-learning, but it is up and down...I would learn every day when I was high spirited, but I could also be avoiding it for months if I was not in the mood. Having classes pushed me to attend, push me to review my studies...and force me to do my homework... And yes, I have to take 2.5h weekend class since there is no more slot on my weekdays night, hahahha...I still need my slots for reading 😁 And yes, radical is really the key! I mean, once I slowly understand the Chinese radicals, I can even roughly guess what the character is about even though I haven't learnt that character...!

I only really appreciate him after I saw his dancing talent...omg...and the his personality...like he doesn't really care about the whole acting career...he is quite focused in dancing, singing and racing :)

I have been learning Chinese for 16 months now...haha...and this month I have increased my class frequency to 4x a week...look what I have put myself into...😅 And my teacher feels it's weird that I pay a lot of attention and focus on writing and reading the characters...because she said I don't plan to study in China or anything, so normally people like me will focus on conversation. Little did she know that I am doing all this for the sake of reading danmeis in their original languange...hahahahhaa.... But actually, I find it more effective to understand each of the characters, I write the same character over and over again...until I get myself familiar, and try to understand each stroke...and it really helps me in the end in reading and speaking too...
Oh, well, if you know Kanji, then Chinese should be easy for you...but Kanji indeed is the most difficult among the three...
