Finally finished this one and I cried a lot the last 2 episodes. It’s a good drama. Absolutely loved the instrumental/piano music played in the drama.

Yeah I watched a little bit of the first episode and the FL is really bad. Hopefully she gets better as the drama goes on. I am waiting for all of it to air before watching it.

Just finished this drama and I really liked it. Cried some tears and laughed a lot. I have to say that Kwak Jae Soo was my absolute favorite character. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

All these short Chinese republican era dramas are always revenge and the posters look the same. Please give us something more original.

Hopefully they dont take as long as AOUAD season 2 to film.

I like a lot of different actors and actresses. I’m not fixated or “biased” on any one of them. If they are bad at a role I will say so. If they are good, I will also say they are good. I am old enough to know they are human beings like us and may be good at one thing but not another - just like us. We all have choices - watch it or don’t. It’s not a hard decision. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I like Kim Hye Yoon (and believe it or not, I have not seen Lovely Runner yet - it's on my list) so I hope she gets it. It's funny how a drama can do so well and get such great reviews but there are ALWAYS the haters that have to come out just because of....what? I think her acting is fine. If you dont like her you can just not watch it. Ive seen plenty of actors who i didn't think would be right for a role that go on to prove everyone wrong, and then there are those who you think are just perfect for role and they bomb it so bad you are left scratching your head. The chemistry has to be right as well as the acting. She seems to have good chemistry with her leads.

Speaking of Lomon - when is AOUAD 2 coming out??????????

Finished. It was good but was disappointed that the leads didn’t have one kiss in all 40 episodes. It only hinted at it when they were in the closet talking and she turned out the light. But their scenes together at the end were cute - the foot bath scene at the hospital was adorable - he took such good care of her - it’s a humble thing to wash someone else’s feet like that and he was willing to do it.

He had good character development by the end - he took really good care of TT - the foot bath he gave her at the hospital was sweet and their jokes about her stinky feet were funny. Was disappointed though that there was not one kiss between them.
