She becomes a fierce protector of him - goes from the shy and bit timid pre-teen and teen to a mature woman who loves him beyond measure.

OMG please stick with it. I am rewatching it again and they are soooo dang cute. I am now on ep 19.

She had originally wrote that then crossed it out after she came back from Yihe as a teen and thought he had a GF - of course we realize later she does go to Yihe U - I am rewatching this one so I will take a closer look at that part but I thought when i watched it the first time that she wrote her dream was him? It's when he realized that she had loved him since she was a teen.

Rewatching this one - has mee blushing and giggling like a teen all the way through it again. Love this cast.

It is weird there is no romance tag on a daily drama.

The way I understood it was The young FL's (Seol Ah) step-mom (Jung In), was the woman who married her dad and stole his money and left. Because of this, Seol Ah ends up in an orphanage. The ML (Jin Ho) was the step-mom's (Jung In) first love - probably as kids? He somehow ends up disappearing from Jung In's life (due to something she did) and ends up in the same orphanage as Seol Ah - years later he meets Jung In again in the company she set up with the stolen money from Seol Ah's father, because he wants to become an actor - Jung In finds out he is engaged to her former step-daughter, Seol Ah. Seol Ah's life became better after meeting Jin Ho but once she meets her former step-mother again, her life will change again....probably not for the better because you know Jung In will want her "first love" back. LOL

I am kind of wondering if Jung In wont recognize Seol Ah since her character has 2 names next to her in the cast list. Same for the ML character.

if you watch the special episode you wont need a 2nd season. It isnt subbed though. I keep hoping someone will sub it.

There is a special episode (21) - unfortunately it isnt subbed but that ending is much better.

This is has been in my to watch list for the past year - isnt this more about the two FLs in the movie though?

I had heard that too - that they had to avoid each other. Imagine having to kiss your best friend passionately! 😂 yeah those ending scenes were just amazing. My heart just broke over and over for him. His life was so pitifully painful -hers too, but he seemed so much more fragile. 😭😭 I loved that her mom finally relented in the end and the way she went running to meet him. Ahhh my heart! ❤️
