I agree! Korean version is iconic but this one is good. I wasn't sure about the ML at first but he seems to settle into the role once he realizes he is in love with her or falling for her. He seems more relaxed in the role. I felt he was a bit stiff at the beginning. She is perfect for the role of Sec Kim - there have been a couple of scenes where she almost looks like Park Min Young too.

OMG you guys are so funny - I said a couple of comments back he is the ONLY character/actor that is making me cringe - I couldn't put my finger on why but it had to do with his smile - it just doesn't come across as sincere - it's evil looking. It's been a while since I have seen the Korean version so I can't remember why the brother was fighting with him other than the bullying - i think he was responsible for him being kidnapped? I need to go back and re-watch the korean version after I watch this one. LOL It's been a while.

I am up to ep 10 and i really like it. Its been a while since ive seen the Korean version so i cant remember some stuff so i think that has made it easier to watch this. I really like the FL. She has very expressive eyes and ML seems to be relaxing more into his role. The one person making me cringe is the ML’s brother. His smiling is just 😖 he seems like he wants to be good but is just bad? I cant figure him out yet.
