I can see an 18 year old thinking he may be in love with an older woman but for her to be hanging around an 18 year old was a bit icky for me even though he would be considered a legal adult in many countries. But I kind of find it weird he hangs out with the young FL - doesn’t he have friends his own age? I get that he sees her as a baby sister but surely he has friends to hang out with besides her? Her brother is closer to his age so why aren’t they becoming friends? The age dynamics is just off in the younger actors scenes. If they were to show him with his own circle of high school friends - girls included - it wouldn’t be so bad but so far she seems to be the only one he has been hanging out with since his older GF dumped him. I’m guessing something big has to happen for him to change his name and they end up losing contact with each other for many years.
Finally watched ep 2. Funny. Young ML was cracking me up. The way he busted down that door. His character is definitely not your typical k-drama young ML.
Finished this one tonight - gave it 9.5. I loved it. The drama kept me engaged in the storylines the whole time. IU never fails to impress me with her angelic voice. Jo Jung Suk's chemistry with her was awesome.
I figure if a woman is dumb enough to offer money to leave her son its time to teach her a lesson so take and keep both. I am sure, in typical k- drama fashion, he hides who he is because he doesn't want favors and wants to learn from bottom up. Ive not seen the drama yet so i cant comment on why he hides his wealth.
