My understanding is she also caused him a lot of mental issues too. Classic abusive relationship symptoms from him. He probably thought she would just change over time. I cant blame him since he was a victim of her mental and emotional abuse. Who knows what else went on behind closed doors. Men rarely open up about being abused in a relationship.

Well this is interesting. Never would have imagined he would be in a weekend drama. But for those who don't watch weekenders, they do get high ratings and the exposure is very good for an actor. So don't dismiss him as taking something that is less than popular - its a good thing imo. I think ratings will be very high with him starring . Lets just hope the writer is good because daily and weekend dramas can have terrible scripts.

Loved the drama but really wanted a better ending. I still rated it high though because the story of the mom/daughter relationship touched me. Wanted more of background stories on Jae Won’s earlier relationship with Jin Hee - they obviously knew each other from academy days but how and why did he fall for her? Also, what had Jin Hong been doing for 30 years? How did he not know she was pregnant - wasn’t that the reason his sister had her beat up in high school? So if none of them knew, why did she beat her up? Also, Jin Hong said he was told she had married - who told him? These were just some of the unexplained parts of the story - and when the two women went off backpacking around the world at the end I wanted to see the two men becomes closer - instead we got polite acknowledgements to each other. Overall it was a good drama.

It doesnt appear the friend KNOWS her adopted son is her friend's bio son. So I am wondering if the friend and husband had an affair and he brought home the baby boy telling his wife he "found" him. Or, to cause angst, he isnt the father but since he is already dead, she can't ask him. I am watching You Are The Best right now so i am seeing shades of that drama here. LOL

The child actor playing the youngest brother is everywhere nowadays. He was in the daily that just ended, while filming that he also filmed Queen of Divorce, now he is in this. In 2023 alone he was in 7 different dramas.

Great casting of young version of ML - he looks a lot like Ji Hyun Woo.

It varies for me. Seems the subs are longer coming out at the beginning but as the drama airs it happens quicker. Maybe they wait to see how much the viewing goes up over time.

agreed - even the bad dramas on the weekends and during the week can earn an acting award. It's all about the script though. You can have an awesome cast and the script can still suck, but the actors CAN pull it off. I think it depends on the cast's ability to bond well and their chemistry. You can tell which ones are trying and which aren't and who is just there for a job. I know I use AOME a lot as an example, but they were an awesome cast that did their best with the terrible script they had. One of the worst dramas as far as storylines go but best with the acting crew imo. That cast bonded and even today they still get together and have meals and hang out.

this one will be 2 episodes a weekend - 1 each on Saturday and Sunday. If you watch a daily it is 1 each day Mon-Fri.
