Yep, that theory was presented at the beginning of this drama and that is what I still believe. I believe he is JS’s and Tae Ho’s son.

1st of all - he shouldn’t have sat down. He needs to stop accommodating them both.
2nd of all - he should have looked them both in the eye and said I am not interested in HY. I have a GF I love and want to marry.
3rd of all - he should look right at HY and say “knock this off or I will file a restraining order against you for stalking. I’ve told you repeatedly I am not interested in you and this is harassment”
4th of all- then he should turn on his heels and walk out.

But nope, he sits down with them both. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I didn’t watch the past two days because I’ve been binging the other drama but I feel like he should have walked up to her and confronted her in front of SW. Loelha and I were just talking about this and she thinks HY is going to make it seem like SW is being swayed to date her and so when EH finds out SW is ES’s boyfriend, he is going to think SW is playing around with both women.

I don’t know, I wish I did too cause I voted AOME very poorly every day for every episode I watched and it still managed to stay in the 7s

I am with you. I didn’t even watch but I kind of get what happened from comments - I wouldn’t have stayed. I hate it when these characters stand there and just “oooohhhhhhhma!! ‘ in that whiny voice instead of saying “ I love you mom but I am not agreeing to this and if you continue to do this to me, I will move out of this house” then walk out. None of these people draw a line. I am all for being respectful to your parents but when you become an adult, you are on your own in making decisions best for yourself - not saying you can’t ask for advice but I would not want to be treated like this by my parents - respect goes both ways.

Not what I meant - I don’t see that as a betrayal but when someone has been betrayed they are naturally suspicious of everything. Once bitten, twice shy.

The only thing the writers changed was SW’s age - he was listed as 32 but JA said he 34. They never said how old EH and EA were when she last saw them - we were all assuming EA was 7 and EH was 5 - but after looking back at the flashbacks I can see that EH was most likely 3 and EA was 5. CY confirms this when she says she met EH for the second time in the Philippines when he was 3 - she says she met him for the first time when he was 2. My thought is DG introduced her to his kids when he and JA separated - by the time the divorce was final, EH was 3 and they moved to the Philippines not long after JA had her accident - maybe 2-3 months - we know CY followed him. So all of that pans out - the only thing that doesn’t is SW. He would have been 2 when JA saw her kids last - the writers walked us into a corner with that. Their only way out now is that SW is adopted, JS’s son, or KS’s from another relationship - or JA lied about his age and he is really 32 - but this means he still can’t be hers because it puts him 3 years younger than EH - which means he wasn’t even born when the divorce was final.

Sorry I am very detailed oriented and this kind of stuff drives me nuts.

And I, on the other hand, know what it is like to be betrayed - your trust is gone and it’s hard to ever trust again.

Ive been seeing clips of it and it looks good.

Quite frankly, i think all of them are nuts except those I've listed previously. I need to catch up tonight about MG though.

My motivation to watch this show is just about gone. Ive been watching an older family drama called Want a Taste. Its pretty good. Ive been tempted to start LYOL though.

I dont like JA but i dont think the same as yall do about DG and CY. They wee dating then broke up. DG was poor, CY was not. We know how that works in k-dramaland. I think her family disapproved and they broke up because of that. Her famiky probably wanted her to marry that other guy they both talked about to their kids -i think his name was Yoon Chul. He came from a wealthy family and CY told ES she really liked him until she met DG. Makes me wonder how in the world those two ever met since they wouldnt have run in the same circles. And did CY dump YC for DG? Id live to know more of their background but age wise, it couldnt have been very long after DG and CY broke up when he married JA. DG says he met CY when she was 20. JA is 2 years older so she would have been 22. JA is now 59. EA is 37. Thats 22 years difference which means JA had EA at 22 - the same age she was when DG met CY - so all of this had to happen within just a couple of months - 3 at the most since pregnancy is 9 months. DG was quite the wishy-washy person.

My bet is he was drunk, she said they slept together and he believed her, but they didn't, and she was already pregnant with someone else's child...but the writer's will probably stick to the one night stand thing.

He has to be one of the following:

1. JS's child
2. Adopted
3. KS's son from a previous marriage/relationship

He will share blood only with the first option - as a cousin. These writers are all over the place so who knows what they will do - they are probably still going to say he is JA's son when we all know that can't be possible given the scenes we have all seen - but they suddenly changed his age from 32 to 34 so who knows?

I think I might watch Be My Dream Family next - it doesn't have really bad reviews. I am kind of obsessed with the K-Family Dramas right now over the shorter dramas. LOL
