exactly - leaving a home doesn't mean you abandon your kids - plenty of fathers are the ones that move out and leave the kids with the mother but that doesn't mean they abandon their kids - they still see them and spend time with and vice versa. I don't see JA as abandoning the kids when she left. In order to divorce one has to leave the household - you must be separated in some places for at least a few months to a year in order for a divorce to become final. Even if most women work, MOST do not make enough to live off of in order to have their kids - those that do take the kids get child support (Which I can attest to it is NOT much to help with anything) and you just make do. I think there was just a series of unfortunate things that happened that caused DG to think JA was not willing to se the kids. JS is at the root of that part of this whole "abandoning" idea, yes, but DG doesn't seem like he really pushed to see JA in person. I guess it's because I am the type of person who would say "She needs to come tell me for herself why she doesn't want to se the kids. You tell her to come see me or tell me where she is and I will go see her." Once I have exhausted all means to personally contact then I can say I tried and move forward. But DG, imo from what we have seen, didn't really try. He just accepted not seeing the mother of his kids and took JS's word. Dumb move on him.

Nooo,she was seeing the kids until she had her accident - she even talked about how she would take them to that gimbap/dumpling place..that’s why she would continue to go there years later because of the memories she had of her kids there. It appears that after her and DG separated that she still visited her kids while trying to find a job. This is why her comment about not seeing the kids fir 3 years since the divorce that she said to that first woman after she went looking for them when she was discharged from the hospital is not making sense. At most she would have only been in there a couple of months - it could not have been 3 years. When she meets DG in the park/playground, he hands her the envelope that says Seoul Family Court - I am assuming it was their final divorce papers because that is when they discuss her coming back for the kids because she was going to be the one to take them. She gets hit by the van and THAT is when JS starts communicating with DG and I believe she is the one that tells him JA doesn’t want to see or talk to him - then when he leaves that money with JS she tells him JA doesn’t want the kids anymore that she is remarrying. So JA is unconscious and hospitalized during these exchanges. I don’t think JA or DG are fully aware of everything JS did. Neither of them have ever truly confronted her. If I had been JA I would have demanded to hear it from her traitorous lips.

I don't know about this drama - it is really crazy. I have seen my fair share of crazy delusional second leads but HY takes the cake in this one. There are not many characters in this drama left for me to like except SW (although his lack of being firm with HY is annoying), EH - love him but I wish he would see HY for who she really is and not what he wishes her to be, and I am most likely the only person who really likes SJ - yes, she annoys me at times but i like her quirkiness. I think she will mature as the episodes go forward - more so when she finds out about her siblings and family. I think it will be a shock for her - she has been very spoiled and sheltered. This will be an eye opener for her.

No worries. I just want to try and get along with everyone. I know we all see things differently on certain live issues but what is the fun in everyone seeing things the same? lol. It would be boring. Please don’t be defensive - we are all here to try and enjoy something out of this crazy messed up drama that is triggering a lot of people in different ways. My posts were meant to portray my agreement with yours so I apologize if you took them the wrong way. I was not disagreeing with you at all. We are good.

but this is HER sister - not his - JA believes DG cheated on her - naturally any family member is going to side with their own family so you would think he would understand that maybe JS would be biased against him - it doesn't matter how close you think you are, them minute you decide to divorce is when your in-laws turn against you. This is why it makes no sense to me why he would be telling JS things about his kids with JA and giving her money and not speaking directly with his kid's mother - especially when he kept saying JA's whole demeaner was not normal - as much as she loved her kids he thought it was so strange she "abandoned" them yet he never tried to talk to her in person. I keep scratching my head over this - this would not have happened in real life - and that divorce - BOTH parties in Korea MUST show up at court when children are involved. Custody papers must be drawn up - he had already given her the final papers - they were divorced when all this with JS took place - he had already promised her the kids would be with her - why would he all of a sudden decide to move to the Philippines? Had he planned on taking the kids the whole time? If not, was he going to abandon them himself with JA, leave the country and never see them again - because if she hadn't been in the car accident and she got them like that planned, he would have left the country without them and not seem them either. 🤷🏻‍♀️ The whole timeline makes no sense whatsoever.

he still should have tried to contact her directly - that part of it makes no sense to me. I would never have went through my brother or sister in law with things that had to do with my kids.

their stories matched though - even the part of the guy CY liked at first that was from a rich family - Yoon Chul - so I believe they were telling the truth.

did that come out in today's episode that he didnt know where she lived and couldn't reach her?

I think JA has admitted her sister was wrong several times - but what she is saying is it started long before her sister did what she did - this goes way back between DG, CY, and JA.

The tidbit about CY and DG being former loves are from their own mouths in previous episodes - so the writers can't take any of that back now - the stories were told to ES and EH by mom and dad.

They all need to be locked in a room and not let out until they get it all out in the open. Stupid stupid stupid people.

It isnt really extra episodes - just extensions of the 2 that were postponed from the Korean Games they had going - technically it is still a total of 120.

🤦‍♀️ there is no redemption for HY. My guess is we are watching one HUGE scam by KBS execs on us - we got promised one thing but given another - there is nothing funny or hilarious about this drama. This seems to be the going trend for KBS dailies now - present a light hearted drama then turn it into a sour, dark piece of 💩. Turn the male leads into second leads and make second leads into 1st leads except make them obsessed, delusional, and flat out stalker crazy.

I am not even watching today's episode after reading remarks - I'd rather wait until I am in a better mood to watch because it sounds like it will just make me angry.

I guess they dont like having free time slots during the day in the middle of the week.

they need to give us a timeframe on how the divorce went down and how long JA was in that hospital - something is not adding up here with these ages and years.

He doesnt seem to be working as much as he was at the beginning. LOL
