No I think they both were terrible people and I never liked the SIL in MFIS. She was a bully through and through. Just because you apologize doesn’t mean everything is ok and all should be forgotten - you can forgive, for your own peace of mind, but nothing says you have to forget. It’s where you just tolerate them because they are married to your sibling but you don’t have to be their best friend and hang out together or trust them. I do not see how any “redemption arc” will be acceptable for the audience with HY - unless she gives her life for EH or ES - maybe then. JMO for what it is worth.

Every time CY gets ticked off at JA, she runs to DG and totally twists everything JA said. You catch more flies with honey - CY keeps opening her mouth and shooting it off and makes JA smart off right back - and to actually say “you should know how painful it is to be apart from your child….” Wow. CY has no shame whatsoever. None. First of all, she has not been apart from “her” kids for 30 years - and EA is not leaving the country and never coming back - she will only be 10 minutes away. The more CY flaps her jaws, the more I can’t stand her.

I agree about SW. there is a definite disconnect between him and his parents. He was gone 17 years to the US. We don’t even know if he came home for visits but I would assume he did - but JA never even hugged him or affectionate with him when he returned nor since he returned.

Yep. And he shouldn't be made to feel guilty for wanting to see snd get to know his mom. But thats what DG and CY are doing. Making them feel guilty.

Yep. Thats the first thing i would have asked - “who are they and when can i meet them?” Another would be to make sure they arent scammers too and KS has that proof - the DNA tests.

Same!!!! I am so with you there. The way they hem and haw and shift their eyes around you KNOW it isn't a “misunderstanding “. He had no business looking after another woman that he isnt related to when he is married. But the fact that he didnt tell JA just irks me.

My thought is she will come to hate SW and will switch gears and just try to get in between him and ES just because she doesnt want them to be happy. She wont even want SW. Shes already said she will get him even if she has to end up leaving him. Thats not love - that’s vengeance. I think that is where she is headed because now she has been humiliated at work by him. She should have heeded his nice warnings.

Yep, the whole bringing her medicine is just ridiculous. Even if he wasnt there all night why did he feel the need to rush over to her with medicine? That was not his place or priority to do that.

And like i said, how did he know she needed medicine and how did he get it for her that early in the morning?

You hear JS ask JA if she knew DG had not been home all night - and as you are hearing that in a flashback you see a determined JA headed to CY's home and she sees DG's shoes outside of the doorway then she walks in and they are sitting there and DH has his hands over CY's hands. I can't remember which episode it is.

The fact that JA knew exactly where to go find him tells me there is a lot more to their story than we know yet - I think he must have been hanging around CY a lot because when He tries to explain she asks him if he loves CY and he says he admits she has confused him - to me that indicates he had seen her more than just that one time - how did he know she needed medicines in the first place? So i dont care what anyone says - those two were having an affair of the heart - and that, to me, is worse than if it was just lust and they were sleeping together - his heart was with CY and not JA.

SW's reaction is two-fold , imo - he is shocked his mom had been married and divorced with two other kids - but now he is facing the dilemma of his own birth - he is 34 years old supposedly - his mom divorced 30+ (33 according to DG) years ago - he HAS to start realizing he was born before that divorce was final..........I think this is why we are seeing him sit in his room deep in thought.....

You would think SW would start questioning his birth at this point - if his mom divorced 33 years ago and he is 34........... I think that is why he was so pensive - he is starting to wonder where he fits in all of this - the timing doesn't fit his age if he is 34 years old.

100% agree - and upset that EA wants to spend time with her birth mom - he has had her for 30+ years - he needs to back off and let the 37 year old daughter make up her own mind. She has a right to go live with her mom if she wants.

So I’ve read the webtoon and I’ve watched this. I liked both. 👍🏻 but I do wish they had ended it better - the last 30 min of last episode were just a bit strange, imo. They didn’t need to go that route just to make them look “normal”.

I think they are stuck. We saw that very thing happen to Seo Joon Young from AOME - he even posted on his IG about seeing how the scripts were progressing and his time onscreen got smaller and smaller and there wasn’t anything he could do about it. He spoke about how he wasn’t the only one who noticed it - the whole cast did - his friends mentioned it - he was very frustrated. They are truly at the mercy of the writer.
