Last drama I watched her in was Moonlight and it was so painful to finish. I did try to watch her in The devil fairy one with Dylan Wang but I still have not finished it because of her.

I also feel the second lead pairings are wrong - tbh, here is how i would have paired everyone:

TY with YH
Direct Lu with TX
DD with GH

No chemistry in the current pairings for me. The whole cast just seems off.

Esther Yu - her whiny baby talk voice just grates on my nerves - that’s why I can’t watch her. Great actress, but please drop that fake baby voice. Ugh.

I think when they try to hide it, it becomes a problem. They are allowing the public to dictate their lives. Just be open and honest like Allen Ren. Why hide it anyway? Janice Wu was one that married and had a child with a fellow actor - someone noticed them out with their child and took pictures - then they ended up divorcing - I don’t care if they are married - or have GFs - I like their acting and their dramas - I am not going to China to hunt them down to try and get with them. 😂 same for Korean actors and even American actors - these crazy fans that think their idols should stay single forever are just nuts.

I feel like TX’s confession was rushed at the beginning - they could have dragged that out for a while - once he rejected her she went on a petty mode against him, making her very unlikable as a character - I think most had a hard time relating to her character because of this - I feel like waiting for 17-18 episodes for her to stop acting like a witch towards him was way too long. Now we are expected to just want her with him after how she treated him - that’s what was hardest for me - the FL character was the worst - so bad I just wanted him to give up on her and find someone else, tbh.

I love Tang Yu’s parents. So glad we have supportive parents instead of crazy ones who want to run their children’s lives. It’s so refreshing to see how cute they are with Tang Yu and DD. I love the scenes between TY and his mom. They are so cute!

Yeah it was really a dumb plot line. She was 19 - definitely old enough to know better - and it’s her niece and nephew too…she is the worst.

I just finished ep 17 and she was definitely better - hopefully she improves more and more but wow, we had to get this far to even see a crack in her iron heart.

I really like him. He is the only reason I am sticking this out. 😂

I agree - i am really hoping her attitude gets better because right now, I'd rather just see the romance in the SLs than watch the main leads. I think TY would be great with the fashion designer friend (sorry I just cannot remember her name LOL )

Obviously it would I have but I have also seen some dramas where the male lead (even female lead too) did just that and the female lead finally opened her eyes that she missed him.
And to the point of him moving in across the hall from her, he should not have done that, true, - he needs to make her miss him - BUT - Let's not forget her force kiss on him after he rejected her...she started it and then gets mad the whole drama which is likely MONTHS in drama time - I get being mad for a week or two , maybe even a month - but I still wouldn't treat someone the way she does after they have apologized and are trying hard to make amends - she is very, very, very , unforgiving and petty - and she is like this even while still liking him! I'd hate to see how she would treat him if she really hated him.

I am surprised at how they are pairing the second leads though - I really wanted his sister, DD, with his friend, HD (I think they have more chemistry than HD has with the fashion designer friend)- and Director Lu with her fashion designer friend.

I am on ep 17 today so i will see if she is better. She softens for a second then is right back to being such a witch towards him. He is one patient person because i would have done walked away from her and said forget it - especially when she bit him - even if he told her she could - that witch drew blood! Who does that kind of thing??? I have never understood these females in these dramas that bite like that in anger. How childish can you be to do that?

But her crushing on him was HER problem, not his. I find her attitude towards him extremely distasteful this far into the rejection (I am on ep 15) I really wish he would stop pursuing her - stop following her, stop calling her, stop texting her, just stop because she is just nasty towards him. I usually do not dislike a lead as much as I have disliked her. Now that he is like a puppy dog trailing her she is just being really bitchy about it all.

Am I the only one who finds the FL extremely nasty towards the ML? I get she is mad because he rejected her but I am in ep 15 and she is STILL being hateful. I just do not like her.

I’ve noticed this pattern in this drama. They drag it out then boom, resolve something in 1-2 eps, then it’s dragged again - they are pacing it out - about the time we are all fed up they resolve something. They did the same thing with SW figuring out ES was Cat, then finding out she was an actress, and ES figuring out SW was the guy in the park, and then them confessing their feelings…so now that this is out, they will drag the other issues for a bit - HY may be the longest one in this drama - that girl has too much hatred in her right now. We still have MG and his ex - GR and his mom, looks like gramps will fall for JS - I believe Tae Ho will come back into the picture at some point….we still have the serial killer storyline too and what is really behind SJ’s parentage - is she adopted? Or is she really KS’s daughter - who is SW’s mother? Lots more. I hope they don’t leave unanswered questions at the end like they did AOME and TRHC.

I kept waiting for her to pass out as well.

JA looking at EH at the end - looking at his eyes and mouth - you see the dawning on her facial expression and bewilderment at how she didn’t recognize her own child - I think when she was looking at his mouth and eyes she was finally recognizing the features…..of a 5 year old little boy she last saw 30 years previously. Aggggghhhhh I am crying again - as a mom this scene just breaks my heart - I just cannot fathom the pain and frustration and shock. I just don’t see how they can redeem JS for this. Even at 19 years old she knew better. She can’t use the excuse of being young and in love - sorry, that just doesn’t cut it for me. The only way I see JA reconciling with JS is because the kids will ask her to.

Yes, I think her reaction was necessary for what she just found out - she will have time to get angry once the shock has worn off.
