You are correct. He is related, just not as her bio son. This would make him a cousin to Eun Hyuk, Eun A, and Seon Joo. This could also be JS’s mistake in the past she keeps referring to and why she didn’t want JA to raise her own kids because she was afraid (I think you mentioned this in our texts) that she would forget her “son” (SW) by placing her own kids as priority over him - she only said this about SW, not SJ. Guess time will tell if I am right. 😂

It is very hard to understand that he would fall for someone he thinks is a call girl, for one thing, and treats him like she does, another thing, and, like you said, needs him to ask permission to help when he is her BOSS? Like you, I am having a hard time connecting him with her because she has totally lost me as an audience member trying to relate to her character, in any way, shape, or form. There isn’t a whole lot that is likable about her right now.
I have been mulling this over so I am just gonna come right out with it here:
I think SW is adopted and I believe Jung Seok, JA’s sister, could be his birth mom. This would make sense - JS has mentioned she made mistakes in the past and JA was probably depressed over losing her kids, so it was decided that JA and KS would adopt and raise SW.
This would be a double whammy on JA since JS is the reason she never got to raise her own kids, yet she was able to watch her own son grow up.
According to today’s episode, DG left for the Philippines with EA and EH, and CY (chicken Fryer) followed him later….so they don’t appear to have been married when he left.
The 2 lost children should be half siblings of the film director and his sister but I am not sure how the film…
Eun A and Eun Hyuk are the daughter and son to Dong Gu and Jung Ae.
Dong Gu married the chicken fryer and their daughter is Eun Sung.
Jung Ae married Ki Seok and they had a daughter named Seon Joo.
Seon Woo is either Ki Seok’s son from a previous relationship (maybe he is also divorced or widowed, we don’t know) or he may have been adopted by Ki Seok and Jung Ae. We do know, given the timeline, he cannot be Jung Ae’s biological son (Dong Gu and Jung Ae divorced 30 years ago and Seon Woo is 32 years old) , therefore, there is no blood relationship between him and Eun Sung whatsoever.

Yeah it really was very disrespectful of her the way she belittled him in front of that jerk (i don't like jae jun- he seems suspicious to me). Ive known people who do this kind of thing and i despise this kind of attitude. The writers better fix her attitude quickly or they will lose their audience .

The address and contact info was on the envelope that JS has in her possession. Who knows how she got a hold if it. Could be chicken fryer gave it to her to make sure JA never got it ir JS might have seen it in the mailbox first snd took it. Still more to learn.
And remember - Koreans walk miles in these dramas. ES might have walked another 2 miles for all we know. But if SW was so concerned he should have dropped her off at her front door or at least the street entrance. We also know HY lives close to EH too.

Because he already tried to explain snd she didn't listen. If she were a decent person she would reach out to let the wife know nothing happened. Instead of allowing a misunderstanding continue. If JA refused to listen then, its on her but at least chicken witch could say she had the decency to try.

I just watched the episode and he doesn’t mention recognizing her - in fact, he keeps questioning who is the woman his dad is chasing after? With longing, like a family me member? If he recognized he would have said “oh that’s the woman I delivered chicken to” but he never once referenced him meeting her in front of her house and how she was the one crying for her children.
Disappointed in ES the last two episodes. I love the whole enemies to lovers/bickering couples, but she wasn’t even flirting/bickering - she was downright mean to SW and belittled him in front of jerk face Jae Jun very passive aggressively. I can’t stand passive agressiveness. He should have called her out for it. She keeps acting stupid and doing stupid things then gets mad when her stupidity is revealed. Don’t do stupid stuff and there won’t be a reason to be embarrassed. She doesn’t learn from her mistakes, apparently.
