I thought that part was so funny. Why hasn’t she ever worked for her brother-in-law anyway? How has she lived…
But like you mentioned to me - who is paying for her place that she lives in? She eats at their house all the time - but she doesn’t live with them - she doesn’t work…so who is keeping her?
Loelha and I have come to the conclusion that the young man working at the Cheong Film company is either the theater witch’s brother or cousin and CEO Kim could be his dad since his name is Kim Jae Joon. This would explain why he walked her out of the building the day of the audition and told her she did a good job and he would see her soon (showing he was on very friendly terms with her), and also how he knew about the assault case.
I actually like HY today. She ended up looking past her grievances with ES and changed her decision about not hiring her because she was a rookie.
I don’t like grandpa at all. I’ve had enough of these dancing old gigolo grandpa’s from AOME. There is nothing endearing to me about his bragging about all his many relationships and marriages. It’s gross tbh. And to talk about it in front of his great-grandson is even worse.
JS is a leech. Calling your nephew up and demanding he see to it you get hired for a job that you don’t even want to do any work but just meet famous actors is just pathetic. And KS telling his son to hire her - I was glad when SW threw that back in his face - “YOU hire her since you think she is so qualified!”.
I keep getting the feeling that I missed something....like the show is an inside joke that I'm not privy to. It…
It does feel that way - like you missed something. They need to stop going in circles with the leads missing seeing each other, not knowing who they really are, the two girls being besties yet they know nothing about each other’s families, the SFL and ML having too many scenes together…on and on. If by ep 40 we aren’t getting anywhere with the leads then I most likely will stop watching.
Not a good sign when we're only 21 episodes in and I'm already getting bored. It's not that it's bad it just feels…
I agree. I am not as invested in this drama as I was AOME - and that was a nightmare by midway through. I am just watching this one every couple of days. For one thing I am too busy now to watch this every single day and another, I don't really care about most of these secondary characters to be excited to see the episodes everyday. Maybe if things start picking up and the storylines actually start going somewhere for the main leads I'll be more excited to see each episode everyday - but right now they just keep going in circles and I am a bit over that.
The argument was stupid. I blame more ES for it. HY offer her compensation immediately, there was no point for…
ES wanted an apology. It wasn’t about compensation. I think HY was arrogant and nasty to her. And it was unprofessional of her to mention that in a passive aggressive way in the audition. Keep your personal opinions about someone you had an argument with, out of the picture.
True. Reminds me of 2 in TRHC. I am sure that the one they have picked will screw it up big time and they will…
And she could be using a different name at Cheong Film if CEO Kim is her dad. They may not want to reveal they are related because it would look like nepotism. Or it could be he is her uncle. I am thinking they are gonna be related somehow.
Including recent episodes or just past episodes? Cuz how do we know if it’ll be a past episode for the reader?
I cant do that on past episodes because i am not going to go look to see what episode something happened in that i want to mention. Too time consuming for past episodes. I was already putting the episodes in my posts because as i watch, im typing in my thoughts then when i am done i just post it. But i did that just for me - i didn't do it to set any type of standard.
Considering how picky MDL is of what you can contribute to details on this site, who in the world approved that comedy tag???? MDL is too inconsistent and allows their staff to also take contributions and repost them as their own.
Me three. Get with it guys. Enough of dilly dallying. Tired of it already.
I understand and trust me, I am really hoping we dont have another AOME on our hands. I am not sure I am over that either - that maybe why I am not very invested in this drama yet because I dont have the same desire to watch episodes every day like I did AOME. If I miss 2-3 days it's not like I am having withdrawals. LOL Does that make sense?

I believe it was her - they had the name Kwon Min Ji has the lead actress then it showed the theater witch at the end - Yang Joo Ri - I believe the two are the same and one of those names is likely a stage name. I am still wondering if CEO Kim is her dad - we don’t know his last name.

I am splitting this drama into quarters here. We have to have the lead up to the romance, the romance itself, the families finding out they are related and the leads having to deal with the fall out of that, then the happiness/weddings, etc. we are still in the first quarter.
So it seems like KS knew Chicken Fryer too - these 4 elders were all tangled up 30 years ago. So maybe KS wasn’t “rich” back then.
Why didn’t ES take off her stained jacket? Continuing her audition in it was just a huge no-no - makes her look unkempt.
I now despise HY more - that witch is unprofessional by bringing her personal offensive attitude into the workplace directed at ES. She should not be a producer. She’s hateful and snobby.
SW’s hair is short again in this episode. The director obviously doesn’t care about continuity of small things that become glaring things.
I thought the whole reason for the auditions were to find rookie actors yet that witch wants to hire the woman that had more acting experience.
So Kwon Min Ji is the theater witch - so is that her stage name or is it Yang Joo Ri?
The cast was awesome. The story was terrible and even the director was not great imo.
