I think a lot of us are forgetting that MR started her crush on JH when she was in grade school. She mentions it’s been about 15 years and she is 27 - so she was around 12 years old - he would have been 20 years old. He was already an adult as she is 8 years younger than him.He has lived in the US since college - that is pointed out in the very first episodes - due to his hatred of his father. He comes back to Korea about once a year for his mom’s death anniversary. So MR has had very little exposure to this guy. Why everyone talks about how close they were is beyond me - he was an ADULT and she was a kid - even if she followed him around while he still lived there in Korea there would have been no interactions between them on a close friendship level. She wasn’t in LOVE with him, she had a Crush that manifested into a worship of some kind She basically put him on a pedestal - she didnt even really know him as a person - how could she when she was never round him much as an adult? Nope, this was more like a hero type worship than love so it isnt surprising it didnt work out - he is not the person she had built him up to be in her mind.

Yes! Yes! And Yes! And the glaring fact that KS. IS. NOT. HER. BOYFRIEND!! She has no right, whatsoever, to even breathe in the direction of MR concerning KS. This just proves that she h doesn’t LOVE KS, she just WANTS him. I she truly loved him she wouldnt be sitting round talking down about him to her brother. If he is such. Great guy in her eyes then why does she feel like he could NEVER have a chaebol daughter like MR? It’s not that she thinks he can’t - it’s that she is afraid he WILL!

I’ve not seen that one. I was thinking of another drama but I can’t remember the name but it showed a little courtyard and stairs going up to the apartment upstairs. I’ve seen the same set in several dramas. I want to say Brilliant Heritage but not sure that is right.

Let’s be real and honest - JH is pulling the wool over his dad’s eyes and dad is falling for it. JH does not love MR. He is using that as an excuse to get forgiveness and sympathy. MR isn’t buying it.
