I did wonder if I should say it but, well, it’s a word we all know and understand what it means. I realize there are people who are celibate and I get he is a loyal guy to his wife, but she has been missing 10 whole years! Past time to either declare her dead or file for divorce on grounds of abandonment of the marriage. He is not doing favors to anyone with his stagnant life. His daughter will have a hard time in a relationship - we may see this play out with JP.

Whatever happens it will have to be something really bad to make him blow up. I can’t wait for it to happen because he really looks like he is about to explode - the stress is getting to him - we are seeing those cracks in his armor getting bigger and bigger. He’s already lashed out a couple of times. But his stress levels keep rising more and more.

So the GF is really sick and needs surgery.

HR ends up in the hospital.

I foresee GF crossing paths with JD and MR and maybe KS as well.

Any chance KS will recognize her if she is his missing wifey?

MR will certainly remember her from JH’s hospital visit.

If she really is Sun Joo, maybe HS will also see her and recognize her or feel she looks familiar?

I get all that happened to him and I can sympathize to a point. But he is 35 years old and has been raising a daughter. He is not giving his daughter ANY firm structure on how to deal with people. SJ was right- they all fly off the handle and use violence as a means of communicating their displeasure. Someone said JD will never learn manners and appropriateness until she is out of that house away from her aunt and grandmother and I agree. KS tries to discipline her but the grandmother undos everything. MR has already been caught in the cross fire of a prank gone wrong. Someone is going to end up seriously hurt.

I just finished watching it. The whole episode was totally ruined for me by two things: HR and her damn “Kang-San, what do WE do?” And that whole conversation MIL and SD had.

Let me start with SD first. I despise SD even more. He is a worthless waste of space and air, imo. KS would be much better off had his own father just disappeared out of his life after abandoning him to his grandmother. Never knowing that useless bast*rd (sorry but this is how angry he makes me) would have been much better for KS. He wasn’t born to work but to PLAY??? Wow. I swear I am not a violent person but he makes me want to punch his lights out.

Now HR. I cannot fathom why any woman will continue to degrade themselves by chasing after a man that has said they do not like you in a romantic way. Have some self control for one thing, have some self respect, and have some dignity. NO man or woman is worth losing your dignity and self respect over. My conclusion with her is this isn’t love, it’s lust. She just wants someone in her bed. If she truly loved him she would not put him in a position of suffering like she is. Her brother is right - why are you making his life harder? I see lust and obsession within her for KS. Even JD knows HR is trying to seduce her dad. And now that the cat is out of the bag about her confession, she will be emboldened more to chase after him shamelessly. If she can cause enough gossip then maybe he will get the divorce and marry her to quell the scandal she is making. She is delusional enough to think this. Honestly, that nasty look she gave YJ when she was yelling at KS to hurry up made me believe she did all of this on purpose - she had to know they were walking up and would overhear her talking about the credit card. Yeah, the conniving sly Fox isn’t MR, the conniving sly witch is HR. “우리는 무엇을해야합니까? “ my a$$. 🤬🤬🤬

So YJ is interested in joining the HDF company…….SS is going to be so annoyed when she does. You know she is going to pass that interview and KS will be hired as well.

So the side piece GF might need surgery. I wonder if this will somehow expose her as the missing Sun-Joo? Will she need a blood transfusion? How will that storyline work though?

Needless to say I was disappointed, again, in KS. He tells MIL that his father taking HR’s credit card was not HR’s fault. 😡😡😡🤦🏼‍♀️ why he sided with HR is beyond me. And I almost did feel like he was enjoying being the center of attention in that whole conversation. 🤮 when HR told MIL not to scold KS the look on his face was “yeah, don’t scold me” like he was just about grinning. 🤬🤜🏻👊🏻🥊

I believe their marriage was in name only - so I think he could be a 35 year old virgin tbh. He hasn’t had experience with women and I am sure the way his dad is he has made a point not to be like that.

I was half asleep when I watched this morning so I missed some stuff. I didn’t want to get up. I am hating this heat we are having - 7:30am and it’ was already 85. 🥵 my brain couldn’t engage in the Korean language this morning so I needed subs today.

I think we may be seeing the beginning glimpses of MR’s character development.

Nope he wouldn’t but she thinks she can have him anyway - the woman is really delusional. I see her character getting worse - her attitude is becoming obsessive now with KS.

Once again your thoughts line up with mine. You just say it much more eloquently than I do. While I am blessed to have reached the age I have, it does suck to have the issues that come with age do I do get it. Don’t let it stop you though - as the Koreans say: Fighting!

That’s what I meant by my post last night - if she can remove JD she will really believe she has a much better chance. If she finds out JD isn’t KS’s biological child you can bet the kid gloves wil come off - it may just be that HR will viciously tell JD she isn’t KS’s daughter if she ever finds out the truth.

She’s got the 1000 dollars to pay off that credit card debt KS owes. Better for him to owe his MIL than HR but this is only going to fuel HR more. I can see her attitude changing since she confessed. She’s going to really cause problems. Did you see that look she gave YJ at the beginning? She really doesn’t even care what anyone thinks anymore. I can’t stand her.

I don’t think so. I saw he was dancing around after he called SS and Dung Dong SR walked in but more than likely they didn’t see or hear anything.

The argument between SJ and MR - pretty sure SJ was insulting MR and the academy. KS tried to defend her seems like SJ got upset that KS butted in and MR defended him so SJ seemed to ask if they had something going on between them - that is when MR raised her voice -UNNI! I wish we could see more of MR’s feistiness. SS overhears JH on the phone with GF and reports to SS.

HR continues to give everyone a FU look. The look she gives YJ. She better be careful -YJ will pull all her hair out.

I don’t even know what SD is saying but I want to punch him. Pretty sure he told them about HR liking KS. MIL got very upset and while checking on JD, realizes she knows? They seem to be plotting or venting to each other.

I still feel like she is gaslighting JD and KS with the whole “ what do WE do now” and “I understand why she is upset and confused” crap she keeps spewing out of her whiny little girl mouth. It’s like she is trying to brainwash them both into believing there is a relationship there when there is none. It’s a case of if you say enough times people will start believing it. Except JD is not having it. My favorite line today was JD saying “How dare you try to steal my mom’s spot”. I really felt that when she said it that way because that is exactly what HR is trying to do - she is trying to steal KS. If HR could, she would remove JD from KS’s life and we may see her try that.

So again, you and I think a lot alike. I do feel on some unconscious level KS is rather liking the attention - and who can blame him - he needs a confidence booster but not from HR. It’s weird because she is only 5 years older than him but he is 8 years older than MR - MR is only 12 years older than JD. 😳 all the guys -JH, HS, and KS are all suppose to be 35 years old. Yet in many ways it seems like MR is the oldest out of all of them.

While I like that JD is taking a firm stand in how she feels, I do not like the way she is bossing her dad around like he is her husband. He needs to take control of her and let her know firmly he is the parent and adult and she needs to stop butting her nose into his adult life. I hope the writer’s don’t continue with this tone of story. I don’t like how they seem to make it look like Jd is a jealous wife/GF instead of daughter - it’s too weird for me.

SD - where do I start? The dude is nothing more than a paid escort - a male prostitute ( and I am being nice). Like you, I have no desire to see a storyline with him trying to date Ding Dong Aunty. For someone who is suppose to be in her late 40s she is another little girl like HR when it comes to men. I just want to smack them both and say GROW UP! DH could really do much better than her too. I really wish the writer had put him with CR. Back to SD - his attitude would have had me throwing him out or making him do chores - anything besides laying around all day doing nothing but complain and leeching off of everyone. Don’t work? You don’t eat. It’s as simple as that. There is no reason he can’t clean, cook, or even work in the side dish store. He is a class A loser. I feel like KS is going to have a life threatening illness that will make all of these people reevaluate themselves. I just hope the writer doesn’t go the cancer trope. I’d rather see him get hurt in an accident and be in a coma for a while than the whole cancer thing.

Soo-Ji - I thought the same thing - she is exposing her cards too soon. She should have definitely waited and followed him around - now he knows they are suspicious of him so he will be even more careful. At least JH doesn’t realize SS is helping SJ but still they both better be more discreet! 🤦🏼‍♀️ she should have never told MR about seeing him and just waited a while to see if he ever gave her jewelry. Just because he didn’t give it to her the day he bought it doesn’t mean he bought it for someone else….she didn’t even give him 1 day! If she had waited several weeks then she definitely might have realized he bought it for someone else but then who is to say he didn’t get it for his aunt? Yeah that whole part of the story didn’t make much sense but then again for SJ I guess it did.

I was surprised as well when JH went to MR’s room when he knew she was changing - even more surprised when he went inside and shut the door. He definitely is a scummy horn dog. That hug he gave her made my skin crawl - like he was only doing it to press her against him. 🤮🤮🤮 he is going to be furious when she breaks up with him and starts dating KS. He strikes me as the kind of character that would force himself on her just so KS couldn’t be the first to be with her. . He is that scummy.

I finally got to sit down and watch the subs. I can’t stand Hr’s whiny voice. Omg it’s like mails on a chalkboard to me.

I still love the scene between KS and MR when he walks in after she put the red dress on. 😂 HS really picked a whopper of an outfit to bring back to her - and did he ever get see her in it? 😂

So I’ve resigned myself to think of this drama as one just about families. It’s obvious there is no romance going for the leads. The ML has been so disappointing to me. He says he isn’t interested in HR but his actions say otherwise. He then tells his SIL she is pretty and cute. He doesn’t put his foot down with anyone and his interactions with MR are brief but very formal and no chemistry. So until further notice my brain is just going with the drama as family with no romance with our leads. I am so thankful I have Bravo, My Life to watch because it’s binge worthy.
