I think the friend was just being a friend and I understand his reasoning. His best friend sacrificed himself…
MIL is too selfish - the use him to do everything. He is working himself to the bone and these idiots are all sitting around the breakfast table eating while discussing him - even his daughter. None of these people even care. It’s such a toxic environment for him.
Looking forward to this weekend’s episodes. Honestly I would prefer a sort of open ending with her and Dr Roy - get divorced, finish your residency, become a full doctor then meet Roy again after 3-4 years. Maybe they can open their own practice together and build on that. She deserves happiness after what her husband has done to her.

I just finished today’s episode and wow….KS is such a caring guy and is so good at being a caregiver - he should become a doctor or a nurse - those fields would be great for him. I cannot picture him as a businessman. But I think he is closing in on his breaking point. He’s had some mini breakdowns and after JH threw that money at his chest and he was leaving - he had to stop and rub his heart to calm himself so we are seeing little pieces of his calm demeanor slowly coming apart.
I feel so bad for him - I feel like he feels stuck - he hadn’t planned on raising a child alone - and maybe they had a plan where they stayed married until JD was a certain age then they would go their separate ways - but for her to up and leave him with HER child - she is a selfish person but we see why she is the way she is - look at her mom and even her sister - and JD is being raised just like them. Then add that Leech to the mixture.
I’d love to see MR, her dad, and KS get their own place and let the selfish people take care of themselves for once.
I think we will see JP’s mom and KS becoming friends. She’s been kind of softening a bit towards him and him repaying the money made her pause and speaking from his heart as a Dad, asking her not to use their family pain against JD - how could a mom not feel bad about that? It obviously flustered her a little. She may end up being his and MR’s ally in the family.

What you said makes perfect sense. I agree. I also have begun to believe he really did not love her, just helped her. I think he has never disagreed with anyone that talks about how in love he is with his wife to have remained so faithful all this time is because he is afraid it would get back to JD and because then he also, in his twisted way of thinking, probably believes they would then question the whole marriage. I really can’t wait until we get to the part of this drama where he is finally living for himself and living it well and is in a good place mentally.
Totally in agreement about JH! He's so upset with how his father treated his mother, but doesn't care that he…
From what preview of 41 shows it looks like things are gonna speed up quickly between JH and MR. The rose colored glasses are gonna start fading for MR.
