I’ve been thinking about the whole uncle/eldest couple situation and here’s why I don’t think uncle will be an intentional donor.
Grandma already dislikes TK for not being of her own bloodline. If Soo Jung has IVF from another donor except her husband, there is no way grandma will accept the child. They wouldn’t risk CM’s status in the family hierarchy by using a sample from someone else. This is why I now believe that CM has low sperm count - this would explain the infertility issues with him, but it is his sample they’ve been using for their IVF treatments
I believe uncle has been told he can’t father children so in light of being told he has a child somewhere, he will go get tested. Soo Jung will get an IVF done without telling her husband but the sample used will be uncles, not CM’s. This time she will get pregnant.

A recurring theme I am seeing in this drama are fathers who are not biological but they love their children as if they were. This is another reason I believe DW is not the little girl’s father.
That last scene of OYD crying broke my heart. I can understand her completely 🥹🥹😭😭🥴🥴😩😩
Me too. I can relate to her - I wasn’t an unwed mom but I did become a single mom later and it’s a scary thing. No one can ever know the issues someone will face when making a decision that affects your whole life forever. You can reflect on it, plan it, but as we all know, even the best laid plans can and do fail - and you will have your moments of breakdowns and move on. I think this just shows her more humane side - she has been pretty stoic about this for a while but with all she has had to endure from his family, even hers, and the terrible SJ, I am surprised she hasn’t broken down before this. She will have her cry and then pick herself up again.
I think the use of barren for her isn’t correct. If she was indeed barren she wouldn’t have even been a candidate for IVF (been there, done that test). It’s probably better to say he is infertile - most likely low sperm count. Depending on the percentage of his low speed count would determine if it was even viable for them to do IVF using his sperm. It has not said if they used his or a donor - we just don’t know at this point other than their infertility is his, not hers. Infertility doesn’t always mean you can’t get pregnant, just means certain issues can make it harder for you to get pregnant.
idk, actually. There is also the plot seed (harhar) of him having met his old flame who will start working in…
I have another theory for that donor trope - he thinks he can’t have kids but in light of these 2 times he’s been told he is a father/will be a father, he gets tested - YC’s wife dies IVF without his permission and they use uncle’s sample in error. I just don’t think, from how she is so snobbish in her status, that she would deliberately choose uncle to father a child for her. 🤷🏼♀️ just my thoughts on that.
lol its terrible romanization. just like 'Bo ra, Deborah' and plenty more.
More like KINGdom Land. Since the group is the King group the emphasis would be King and playing off of that. The King Group has their own kingdom so Kingdomland makes sense to me.
"King the Land" is a literal title of drama (English phrase written in Korean). I think its either dropped "of"…
For me I would not use it that way nor would I, as a native English speaking person, understand it being used in that way. Not sure why a teacher would say that. If it doesn’t make sense then it loses its meaning. JMO though. Others may feel differently.

We know Korean sentence structures are different from English sentence structures. English is Subject-verb-object. Korean is Subject-object-verb. It took me a while to get use to that.

I’ve never dropped “of” in sentences like this. It makes the whole structure take on a totally different meaning. One, the woman - added comma makes it seem like the woman’s name is One. So One becomes the noun and subject. Without the comma the sentence is incomplete. But even if you add of - One of the Woman, it’s still incorrect because then it should be a plural sentence - one of indicates just one of more - so the sentence should then be One of the WomEn -plural. So yeah, the translations are a tad off for native English speakers.
If it wasn’t for Real, they would have never met so…… 🤷🏼♀️ she is looking at the wrong way.…
😂 i am wondering if the step-dad will bring JH back. He may run into him in the US and want him to be an investor for the company. I was thinking about that this morning.
