Yes, yes, and yes! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I have seen Five Enough and you right - it was a well written drama- each family member, right down to the children, was beautifully written and played out. The lead couple was super cute and connected well. Background stories gave us reasons to like and dislike characters. I despised the in-laws at first but realized why they did what they did - their fear was losing their grandchildren like they already lost their daughter. But here, we have no reason to sympathize with leads because we have nothing to go on besides his step-family are all a$$e$.
I was looking at the cast of characters and noticed the elder Sister-IL , Soo Jung, shares the same last name as another character The guy from the elevator scene - isn’t he the guy interested in Ji Myung? Are they brother and sister?
I think the friend was just being a friend and I understand his reasoning. His best friend sacrificed himself…
I can agree with all of that. I am ready for KS to take control of his life - it’s a mess right now and mentally unhealthy for him - even his daughter is obviously in a bad situation because they don’t make her behave properly which is not going to benefit her in the long run. It will be interesting to see how the writers will move KS forward since we see so much lack of motivation on his part atm. I don’t want him falling in love with MR to be his motivation - his motivation needs to be from himself for himself p not for someone else because he has been living for others too long.
You said very eloquently everything I am feeling as well. I know we need the villainous SFL but I am tired of her being the FL right now. Are the writers trying to capitalize off of her The Glory popularity? If so, then we aren’t going to see much of our leads as a couple, it will be her character running the show.
Look, the writers for Cheese in the Trap did the same thing to the MLs in that drama - it started great but then everyone oohed and Ahhed over 2nd ML so he totally overtook the whole storyline - leaving ML with little face time in that drama. I surely do not want that to happen here because that drama was only 16 episodes - here we have another 35 more to go.
Our 2ML here is awol. We have all pretty much lost interest in him now. Should he return we won’t even care at any trouble he stirs up because we have not invested any time in his character to even care - who is he? What is his backstory? Is he somehow related to TK? Why did he cheat on YD? How did he meet SJ? We have nothing on his character. These are things I want to know - We already know a lot of that about SJ except her motivation - greed is no longer enough for me to even care about her now. There is absolutely NO point to WHY she wants TK. He has no standing in this step-family - no connection to the family business/money that would even help her.
I want to know more about TK’s mom’s background as well - this would give us insight as to why he doesn’t like marriage - what was his life like pre-Gong family? Was she married before to TK’s dad? Was he born out of wedlock? Who is his father? How did she meet her husband? How was she ever ALLOWED to marry into this family considering Joseon Granny’s stuck up, snobbish attitude?
Same with YD - her family background is also a mystery - where is her father? What happened to him? Has he even been mentioned?
YD’s brother - his background as well - is the little girl really his? Who is the mother? Is he a twin?
TRHC seems more to be The SJ show than anything right now and I am already annoyed and tired of it. The main couple has so much potential and writers already seem to be veering off course .
I think the actress playing SJ is awesome but I am tired of the drama centering around her every single episode. We need to see some progress with our main lead couple. I feel we aren’t getting anywhere…not even in the slightest. TK disappointed me today. I am hoping he has an ulterior motive for spending time with that wretched ex-fiancée instead of being home taking care of his “wife” who just got released from the ER.

Wait a few - he eats with her….again. After he isn’t supposed to be “able” to eat - so basically he is exposing his lie about sympathy morning sickness to the one person who he should never even be near.
Why do they keep allowing her in is the better question. I’d be saying no and do not show up around here again.
My theory is they are being nice back to her because they want to see what she is up to….. in the behind the scenes clip on kocowa someone is asking Ahn Jae Hyun if he (as TK) believes SJ’s character really saved YD and he says (very seriously so I think he may be trying to throw us off) “SJ is a kind person so I believe her.”
