People like to be offended over everything nowadays - mostly the young. Us “old” people learned to have thicker skin and realize not everyone is good, including those who claim tolerance then turn around and bash you for a different opinion than theirs. I mean, how dare you do that! As long as you agree with them you are good, dare to have a different opinion, you are a racist. Lol. Seriously, I don’t know how they will survive later down the road.

Kim Yo Han did a great job in A Love So Beautiful so I am looking forward to seeing him in this drama. He will only improve as an actor as he takes on more roles. He has a great future ahead of him.

Loved this ending - it was better than the cdrama ending. I am glad they decided to go with Heon’s perspective of their relationship for the ending. Overall it was a cute, light-hearted drama. I thought Kim Yo Han did a great job considering this was his first acting experience and he was the lead too. I loved it when he said “I forgot the lyrics -I mean I forgot my lines” lol that was a cute blooper.

Yes, I apologize. The synopsis was the same and I didn’t notice it wasn’t the drama but the movie. I’m still looking for this drama.

I forgot I posted this - my bad. The one on Amazon Prime is the phillipino movie, not the Chinese version. I am still looking for the Chinese version.

I started watching k-dramas then added c-dramas - I have to say c-dramas are my favorite. They tend to be more in depth and their episodes are longer.

Yes, you said it very well - I didn’t get in the Korean version why he couldn’t live without her. And the proposal scene lacked emotion, feeling, depth, and chemistry - it was awkward.

JC was an immense jerk and very unsympathetic - but his character at the end, when he is sitting on the bench, crying his heart out after he asks her to forgive him and she walks off…then his heartfelt confession that BS had her listening to by phone - that was all him finally humbling himself and admitting he has problems with showing love and being loved - absolutely turning point for his character and for the whole drama - it made everything make more sense. The Korean version, while good, was too watered down and there was really no depth to the characters. It’s a light-hearted version that is good for a binge watch when you want something cute to watch. If you want more then I highly recommend the cdrama.

True but he also had immense character development by the end - that was the biggest difference between the two. I felt his character in the c-drama was a lot more humble at the end because he was such a jerk at the beginning.

I felt a lot was missed here with their night together, the next morning, and her parents showing up. All I can say is watch the c-drama. I thought this a Korean version was cute but for those who have not seen the c-drama version, they are left with a lot of questions - if you watch the original, you would have the answers to those questions. If I hadn’t watched the c-drama first, I would not have liked this Korean version much. But because I knew the backstories, I understood it better and could fill in the holes. Overall I thought the Korean version was good. I thought the ML did a great job considering it was his first main role. I’m looking forward to seeing his next role.

In c-drama at end of ep 23 we see things from ML’s perspective. In Ep 24 it was about what really happened when she went to that singing contest back when she was in school and how ML helped her out. I’m not sure what ep 24 will be with Korean version considering they have not shown the part where everything is shown from his perspective. Guess we’ll know Saturday.

I absolutely love this drama. I’m on episode 8 and I love the chemistry between ALL to actors. The cast is awesome.

Yes she is really over the top with SH and she is very arrogant but that guy really put her in her place about her awards and resume. Maybe we will see a good change come from that. Even if they don’t get together I’d like to see Mingrui become a good friend to her - she needs one and he seems to have a calming influence on her.

Actually I think they are funny together but I think they will change her character - they will have to - and he seems to be scared/sympathetic towards her. He kind of admires her spunk yet dislikes her arrogance. I think the guy coming down on her about her resume really made an impact on her.

Yes this is the original episode 24. If you look at the original A Love So Beautiful - there are only 23 episodes. They may have the synopsis wrong but it is about the singing contest she went to - they mention it in the drama but we never see what really happened - until the special episode. I was probably confusing this episode with what happened at the end of 23 - I remember the scenes from his point of view but I also remembered this special episode they made - if you’ve seen them both then that is all there is.
