I think he did go back to his ex, whether during the show or afterward. He doesn’t seem like someone who would throw away nine years of a relationship, and honestly that’s what I wanted for him — to reunite with his ex, because I feel like she suited him much better than Hyunji.
For me, Hyunji was just a physical attraction for him, nothing more, nothing less. And he even admitted in episode 14 that MK was the one who made their relationship work, which is why it lasted so long.

And to be honest, people may see him as a red flag, but I’m probably the only one who never saw him that way. He seems way better than BK (the actual red flag) in terms of looks and personality. He’s not toxic, and he’s not overly touchy with other girls either.

He reminds me of that red flag Jiwoong from Couple Palace season 2. He was interested in one girl from the very beginning, but he kept flirting with another one right in front of her. Even her roomates warned her about his behavior, but she still chose him in the end. 😂😂

It doesn’t feel scripted to me, but I could clearly see he didn’t like being called oppa (He rolled his eyes) . He says he doesn’t date younger girls because he sees them as little sisters, so why is he wasting Yunnyeong’s time?

When BH told his ex not to take things seriously on the show, it basically revealed how he sees it, also he told her that if she want to go back together do it outside, and after watching their date, I honestly believe BH doesn’t like YY (sorry but nobody can convince me he does) . I think he’s on the show for acting, not for love. I’m not just paying attention to what he says; I’m also reading his facial expressions, and something feels off. He’s not sincere. He’s playing with YY.
If you look at his reaction when she gave him the gift, or when she wished him not to struggle in Japan… bro, his face was literally like ‘I don’t care.’ I dont trust this man.

Honestly, I can’t say I liked their date. Something was missing. This date just confirms my opinion that BK is not the right one for YY. She was the one doing everything: taking the initiative, making the effort to talk, give him a gift, she really took her date seriously … He did nothing. He barely spoke and couldn’t even hold a conversation with her. He was completely passive, and he doesn’t match her energy at all.

And I’ll say it again: I don’t think BK likes YY as much as she likes him. There was zero chemistry between them. HJ and him they are toxic for each others, but I have to admit there’s at least some real chemistry.

I really hoped YY wouldn’t choose BK, and if she unfortunately does, I don’t think their relationship will last after the show.

In the end, I’d say YS is the only guy in the house who truly matches her vibe, more than any other guy there.

There chemistry is real they are still attracted to each others after a long time and sometimes they flirt with eo...they will not get back together but I feel like they will be more in situationship in the futur

So yeah, BH still likes HJ even after five years. Did he ever want to reunite with her? I guess yes. But because he was so hurt in the past, and has more painful memories than happy ones, he tried to force himself to meet someone new. He’s basically fighting his own feelings.

As for HJ, I think she still has feelings too. But as she said in episode 13 during her conversation with BH, getting back together isn’t just about her emotions, which is why she hesitated. We can say she has matured; she now understands that love alone isn’t enough to make a relationship work and last.

I partly agree (30%) and mostly disagree (70%) with his behavior. He shouldn’t be saying that to him, whether he has good or bad intentions, because what’s happening between Yusik and Hynuji is none of his business. Whether she’s interested in Yusik or not shouldn’t concern him.

At the same time, I find Baekhyun to be quite resentful. He was already speaking badly about her in the first episodes, and the fact that she invited her ex really set him off. You can feel that he’s still holding a grudge against her, almost as if he’s seeking some kind of revenge.
