The scene at the rooftop happens after he goes to the police station. So by then he already knows she can speak. Do you remember how he was late to go to the office? I believe that was when he went to the police station and found out. That's why even his question towards her in the interview ( " can you speak?") was kinda suspicious.

I think he won't. He'll probably find out during the car accident shown in the preview. But I wonder what excuse she'll come up with, or is she gonna pretend to fall so he can catch her because something like that was shown in the trailer.
