I don't understand why he turned so rabid against the Shens. I mean I thought he was just out to get rich.
LQS was never out to get rich. He eagerly wanted to help the country to prosper. He saw that STN was also honestly fighting for this cause, not becoming corrupt like all the other higher-ups. So, LQS actually admired STN and thought very highly of him. But when he saw how STN ganged up with KangYe after the big scandal and helped the goverment cover up how they actually just wanted to robb money form people LQS was deeply disappointed and started to despise STN.
