I think they are more unhappy about their scenes getting deleted for unknown reasons after months of hard work in the winter. That's why their scenes got reduced.

Currently, the comments in China are quite chaotic. Many WuWu, JZ, and CDL fans are unhappy because their scenes are short, some have been deleted, and they feel they’ve been deceived. It’s all over Douyin and Weibo. Hopefully, things will change later. 😅

It’s perfectly fine to hate Siba (and rightfully so) and still like/be a fan of JJY at the same time. Most, if not all, of JJY’s Chinese fans also hate Siba, and they have every right to.

Now I kind of know why Youku didn’t promote this drama that much, they wanted to stay low-key since Siba is stalking VoS and JJY and probably threatening them with lawsuits. A clear sign of this is that as soon as VoS hit 2 million reservations, Siba immediately interfered.
