He has no better choice. He can either kill Thian (but he can't) or tell the bad guy thian's secret ( I don't think he know or know what will happens next to thian if his secret is know by all). The bad guy already told Jiu that if he wants to save thian life he has to go search for the secret . This is the best choice I guess. Save him sister and also thian life.
