@Lily well if I see from An le POV …. Marriage and promise was never in her mind ever. Decision dropped on her by her clans and Han ye”s grandfather. She took well on her stride as a princess should have done. Grandfather saw something very special I guess in DJY that he names her Emperor Di. Before and after the tragedy too Crown princess was always infatuated by DJY. She even when 8yrs old told him that when he said she would always be her crown princess. Your wishful thinking.
She was never in that mode. It was Han Ye who was impelled from within to protect An le as he had seen the brutality of her clan demise. He was stabbed too. He did not wanted that for DJY. He in his own wishful thinking thought if An le be free and safe, he would marry anyone to keep her safe.
More than his promise to marry her it was to keep her safe which was the reason why he begged for her life and never forgot her even when she was in Dai mountain.
Han ye can have his weakness but his weakness erupted from that tragedy of blood and butchery of innocent people. His whole work was to bring peace and tranquility to his people. He is the most tortured soul with his love to protect, innocent people would go through worse situations in wars. Protect his family whom he love. Be the Prince of righteousness yet failing every time inside.

I agree ……I’m still so sad 😞… This episode was emotional wrecking

Bloody Hell, It was such a scary, emotional and painful episode. I truly cried when the armies were ambushed and killed. They were given such a death, Instead of a reward for their bravery and sacrifice, They were ambushed and killed. OMG, My heart plummeted, I felt so devastated.
The emotions going on inside An le were palpable, Her face was distorted by emotions which were coming and going, Not able to scream and wail or fight for her clan, such dishonourable death to her honourable clan, She could just restrain herself so hard. I felt that emotion.
I could just throttle Anning, Why keep quiet? But I know I know why she is quiet, Her turmoil is her own inner hell, she is burning in her own secret. But still my heart pains for An Le and her clan.
The confessions were done so well. The actors who were there delivered their emotional acts so well. Im so glad.
LMX screen presence is amazing. The chemistry between An Le and LMX is so good.
Im now not able to contain myself.... What will the coming episodes bring? I was so thrilled by this episode, It was truly an emotional roller coaster.

Thank you for this explanation. Wish it was depicted as written. They were busy making it all lovey dovey... ( Though they succeeded in some ways as I'm sucker for romance ) But, still I would have appreciated more if it was executed like written.

I have written before too.... If Han Ye was even a bit less incompetent in his approach towards his duties and country, An Le would have dealt with him harshly. But, Every journey they came through she saw how much he was invested in his duties and cared for his people. He was truly how the public described as kind and caring. She saw he could be a good ruler.
That s what I liked about An Le, She was not totally driven mad by Revenge. She had sense too. She would take her revenge but not unjustly, But with dignity, just and grace as worthy as her Clan who was wiped out unjustly.

Well, I beg to differ, Its never been the casts which has let me down, An Le has been consistently excelling all the emotions. Comedic, painful, bashful, confused and now will be her new phrase and I will be loving it.
Simon portrayal as Han Ye's has been so good. His eyes speaks volume and in this recent episode he touched my heart by his sincere innocent performance.
LMX has been awesome, I agree ... So, are all the casts here.
Its the flow of storyline, gripping tension, more gripper vengeance plot. Location shortcoming which is making me mad.
Its easy to blame the actors but its those who were running the show who thought casts can do all the job. Its truly disheartening that such a beautiful Novel and what a great adaptation it would have been, But still I'm here finger crosses that heart breaking scene would be executed well.
Ill truly be grateful.

@ Its not a first time and it will not be the last time, I've noticed actors and actresses who are very beautiful and act well too are bombarded with over jealous fans who try hard to throw them down.... they are like those hyper ACTIVE pigmentation which can never be scraped or erased out.. they keep growing in their hate and negativity.
Im Glad I support such a beautiful and talented queen and Im proud to be Alice. I will always support my girl as she is worthy of love and respect.

I was all red...( Some of the scenes were truly blush blush) all pale for this episode. I truly saw this time Han ye's Love for An le, The scenes in the river were truly amazing. But, Yes the big But, What a disastrous fake jungle that was. It truly spoiled my mood. Why? Some will say it was just a scene but I say if the scene was important enough to shoot why not shoot in a good location? That fake everything just made me mad.
Okay, Im very curious about Di Shen Tian. What will she be like?
Poor LMX He keeps asking the same questions on repeat..... You gone soft Diziyuan. You have fallen for Han Ye.... I think the real revengeful DZY has arrived.... Now you are back on falling in love? Poor LMX ....
Im now a bit of going with the flow. As the storyline has decided they want to do what the heck they want.... So, I will also watch henceforth without any expectations and just enjoy the drama ....

P.S-The rating has gone down ... I know as Yang Zi's new drama and Cheng Yi's new drama have recently started and the way they are going guns over the episodes, Im surprised. LYF has released 8 episodes till now with sub. MLC 13 with sub.
I'm a bit depressed about the way TLOA was treated this time. They expected Diliraba and Simon Gong to shoulder everything.
I will support my girl but still I feel half baked kind of feeling.
