That is what Im stating, Nothing can make Han Ye a saint or pure even if he has that kind of nature... his whole family is in this sin. And he loves his family no matter what they did, That makes him part of the sin.
He may be kind and has a bigger picture on his mind, But If given between his family and his kingdom and DZY. He would always tilt towards his family and his people. This is why he kept urging DZY to keep being An le. He says he wants to let her remain free from everything, Maybe he does want her to be free but still, there is something which he does not want to do. Choose between his father and DZY. That is why he is Han Ye the one chosen by his Grandfather, The prodigy who knows how to diplomatically manipulate things, He may seem calm and passive, But he has learnt from the greats and he can be equally ruthless. I don't know why he was shown like this here. Too passive.
But again the same point. My Point. He is part of the crew, Part of the ship and part of the family. Though he did not choose to be as you had put still he did not abandon anyone. He still loves his family even if they are sinners. So, He is one of them.
LMX stated that I agree and DZY did not want to pursue things ahead, But LMX is somehow right too as the Capital due to the inefficiency of that ruler, People are getting killed, murdered and oppressed by his minister. Families are denied justice even when their daughters are raped. For them to get justice they have to put their life on the line just to complain.
So, LMX wants to eradicate that ruler who was worthless in his eyes.
Anning is guilty ... But anning never came in front of DZY as Crown Prince did. The care and love he has for DZY make him yearn for her. Anning on the other hand mourns more about her action and her grandmother than DZY.
Guilt makes her stay away.
Anyways..... Your point my point what does it matter,,,, Eventually we want the drama which is coming to its end to proceed without any draggy parts and hope we can enjoy the end too as well as we enjoyed every episode.

Okay, Ill lay down as simply as I can and maybe I may be referring to the character yet it would be my POV also with example. So, as much, as I can deduce .. The only thing I can say is If character A father murdered the whole family of Character B, In this whole turmoil, Even if it was done by Character A's mother but still Character A never questioned anything, He was mollycoddled by his mother that he could not come to the conclusion that maybe something is wrong. Okay in this whole incident, Character A's son begged for the life of B's daughter, which was agreed upon. The bargain struck between him and his father was the daughter would be transported to a mountain which was one of the loneliest place and scary too.
The daughter had no say in this matter, Her whole family was murdered and she was hurdled like a cattle off to the mountain.
Now, Why DZY emotions are not misdirected? She was never confused about anything, But Love happened and that made her more sensitive not confused still. She knew Han ye was a capable ruler and that had nothing to do with her bias or love for Han ye. It was true.
But she disliked him because he comes from the home where his elders murdered her family and murdered her clan. So, Han ye being the representative of that house, DZY has conflicting emotions and that is natural.
Han Ye is not technically a murderer but he belongs to that family and Han Ye loves his family, He respects his grandmother, father, and sister knowingly of their sin. So, That makes him part of that sin.
So, DZY conflicting emotions targeted at him is quite understandable.
As for LMX ..... He was narrating those words and directing it to Han Ye and indirectly to DZY also that even if Han Ye is willing to do the bidding for the sake of his father and Di family. The sin was greater than what is being done. He is not sacrificing anyone for anyone even for Di clan, He had always been in touch with the family of those massacred like Lin Lang. He knows how it feels to be a survivor in such an unjust and cruel massacre.

HMM, I think like emotions, This episode was erratic but natural. It was a rollercoaster of emotions which was depicted by everyone.
The one thing I feel that DZY kind of feels let down by Han Ye is that even if he tries hard to pursue her in his own passive way He respects her I understand and even though he tries to please her or tries hard to make her known of his feelings. In front of his father, he fails to stand up for his feelings. When asked Does he wants to honour his marriage with DZY, He does not even blink in replying with his answer that he is only there for King, fairness, peace and the world.
I get his father is patient of delirium, indecisive, That stupid sob had been mollycoddled by his mother and now he expects the same treatment from his son. Han Ye always feared his father's rage because he knew his father was deranged and can give erratic judgments in that situation. So, He has to tackle one situation which needs his immediate help than another in his hands.
Now I See my answer is also erratic and does not at all match my first reply. If we as an audience are not able to grasp the flow of emotions, Then how it must be for someone who lost so much in her life, Still come to the rational point that Han Ye is a more capable ruler than his father and DZY is right. Pursuing more would bring calamity to the people of Jingian and Ambition can destroy more innocent people.
I understand LMX also as he has very little time left and he wants to do as much as he can and that must be tiring and overwhelming. His loyalty never wavered for Di Clan nor for DZY but he has been with both parties and He gets scared of DZY's kind heart. His thought is if the murderer and thief stole everything from the family and after such a long fight begs for forgiveness just in word and never returns the things stolen and lets his son do the bidding, It's another big grievance to the family. Though he likes Han Ye, He always doubted HY's pursuit of righteousness and peace and his devotion towards his family can never understand the calamity which his clan have brought and mere act cannot bring peace to the torn families who have lived and died inglorious life and death.

Some people will have a hard to understand the underlining of the emotions of the characters, Maybe, I'm thinking too much or my understanding is laced with my own convictions. But, This is what I can come across after reading your comment.

Ren Jialun himself very kind and compassionate. True gentleman. The way he praised Raba was truly amazing an heart melting moment.
Yuxian's observation towards Raba was so accurate.. The way she saw Raba's struggle day to day, She felt how hard its to be superstar and the way she carries herself must be equally painful like walking on the eggshell kind.

There was this twitter circulating that someone visited the museum of Di Zi yuan and there is uncanny resemblance between Raba and DZY.

Im crying like there is no tomorrow, Truly felt for everyone this time, Even for the then Empress and now deceased Grand Empress. Her strength came from her clan and she was from a very reputed clan. Her husband never gave her the love she deserved. , That is why she was like that twisted. Maybe, she felt that the only thing she could do was secure her son and his future as she had no relationship or love with her husband. Her hatred towards the Di clan comes from her own personal Doubts, fears and worries. The last line before her death was so beautiful and strong. I believe her husband loved Di Shentian because that must be the reason he wanted to get his grandson to get engaged to DJY.
LMX was the epitome of sacrifice I swear. It was just the scene in the prison should have been executed more properly, It's my observation that it should have been more devastating and painful. I cried but I cried more when LinLang danced. She portrayed her pain in such a beautiful way. Maybe, DJY does not love LMX as a lover like Lin Lang does maybe that is why her emotions were different.
Anyways, The whole story is coming together and here I can see the diplomatic nature of Han Ye, The way he handles things with kitten paws, So clean and soft yet effective. I can see why he could be such a great ruler. And, why did An Le fall in love truly, She was not in love when she was forced by HanYe's grandfather to be Han Ye's bride, But who would not fall in love with such a man?
The end chapter of Di Cheng was also satisfying. I hope she has her happy ending.
I can only fear the coming episode. I hope these few episodes do not drag and focus mainly on the leads as I still feel leads are getting lesser screen time.

Yes, Looks as some deem her too strong on features as man as they say.
She is not soft like Hans beauty but she is not biologically hans, that’s one of the stupidest reason to hate. Second she has never been caught in any dating rumour. Everything is made up, pictures made up, stories made up. These scenarios makes huge uproar and again die it’s own death and haters be like What can we do to drag her down. Her discipline is steel strong. Haters hate her guts and strength.
Thirdly her success. Her Hardwork has paid off but haters try to drag her and hate her for her success.

First, Its adoration a fascination for celebrity, and major part is Population. China being number 2 most populated in the world, Crowds are huge there. So, Its very normal to see people hanging over Celebs events.
Just imagine the humongous level of views of each celebs in China for their drama or event. Even a simple advertisement garner millions of views in second. So Its the population who are crazy about their own individual idols and stars.

OMG, I'm so satisfied to the brim and overflowing, Her performance touched every chord of my heart and I can gladly breathe now the episode is over. I was at the edge of my chair..... Thrilling was an understatement.
An le you did it.... People saying she was not the mastermind, Yes she was not..... They were. The duo of LMX and An le were the masterminds and they executed it so perfectly.
The pain and guilt An le showed even when she was the one wronged, Her clan was wronged, She knew she has to trample upon many to reach where she is even her heart.
