I understand Gu wei's situation. But from LZX's pov she wasn't aware of any of these. After all that happened she still went to see him. She's ready to be there for him. I loved the way Gu Wei discussed about LZX with his parents. I thought they will ask him to marry Gao Xi no matter what. But seems like they are just worried about him like how every parents do. Having a relationship with a younger girl in her early 20's is what they are afraid of. That's a valid point tho. As we saw in this episode, LZX wanted to wear couple tshirts coz that's what girls at her age do. Whereas Gu Wei thinks he is too old for all these. That itself can lead to a huge argument. But instead, LZX never compelled Gu Wei when he doesn't wanted to. But Gu Wei did that later. This is what makes their relationship stronger. They complement well with eachother. So I think this may be the way most parents would behave. Because I think I can understand their worries here even though I never liked how they both wanted Gu Wei to marry Gao Xi before.
