OMG, your boyfriend and I do think the same concerning that ship. I thought Macau and Chay would be a great couple since they first appeared and I was looking forward to seeing tem interact which never happened. As you said they are all great actors and Barcode did a great job, especially if we consider that he is so young and this is his first project. Ta and Barcode would nail their roles once again and I would love to see their chemistry on screen and their dynamic in the series.
Even if I don't ship KimChay I believe the fans of that ship got the short end of the stick. BOC did not do the KimChay story justice, personally I would like a special episode that would show us their dating period which was off camera and then have a proper closure so we can get the MacauChay ship lol. I feel that the series can promote the MacauChay ship now considering the direction of the story.
