But I wouldn't know who to choose 🤔
We don't need to choose when we can like both of them at the same time :)

Watched Children of Nobody and thought "Why did they chose him in this role, he isn't a good actor"
Then watched Waikiki and found him to be the funniest korean actor..

and most recently The Veil! they always cast him as the villain so people can curse him all the time lol I guess…
It's not even about being a villain, he plays the same character every time!

I guess he's too good of an actor to waste his talent on kdrama :D:D:D
I just meant that they are really good and should be known to more people. In 5 years more people in India would be watching English movies in theatres than Indian movies but for me Korean movies are better and if people knew about them, they would do better here since they are mostly family friendly. There are a lot of mediocre actors in the West with a huge following, I feel bad for the Korean actors and moviesmakers who are unknown to world. And I believe they too would be glad that they are loved by a lot of people.

You can't replace NamKoong Min though.
Yeah he was good. I didn't like Jamie Layton though.

It deserves at least 8.5 rating. I have no idea why it got low ratings, maybe the characters could have been better.

I have been watching korean movies since 2009 but kdramas only since 2020 and I find both of them way better than Western movies and shows (I am saying this after watching a lot of them but I hardly find any good ones now a days). People in West prefer korean movies over dramas because movies are 2 hour long and they can't bother reading subtitles for longer time. While for people like me who come from non-English speaking countries and are used to watching foreign movies with subtitles since childhood, it isn't much of a problem. I prefer kdramas over korean movies because movies finish in a short time but I can enjoy the dramas for a longer time.

I wish Koreans promoted them in India because people would absolutely love them, the only barrier is language. Most Indians know English which is why they prefer them but the Korean shows are more relatable to us.

India has a huge population and we can singlehandedly make Korean shows/movies more popular than English ones if marketed in right way.

tbh Korean movies will only get popular because of Kdramas :)
