I remember back when Narimiya Hiroki decided to retire :( I was just getting into dramas at that time, watching Kindaichi, loved him and Yamada. So sad to see him retire due to backstabbing, but fully understandable. Glad to see he's doing well now!
I think it's really interesting that Jin Gook pointed out that Moo Young always throws in the truth in his "jokes",…
Jin Kang is probably blaming herself for thinking she ruined their relationship, and like Moo Young said, she is either unaware of her feelings for him, or she's in denial. In either case, subconsciously she will also direct fault at Moo Young for her having these feelings.
But yeah, Seung Ah needs to get a grip on reality. I can sympathize with her on some level which is why I'm not comparing her at all to her mother or Woo Sang--she's clearly been raised more as a puppet than a human (by her family and rich peers), so I do wish her to have a happy ending, but that ending isn't with Moo Young.
W.T.F. shit just hit the fan. that ending + preview.
I think it's really interesting that Jin Gook pointed out that Moo Young always throws in the truth in his "jokes", as well as Yu Ri's refusal of Jin Gook's promise. This makes me go back to the scene where Moo Young said he's looking at the murderer. Really makes you think twice about what's being said!
I also think that scene with Cho Rong averting his gaze when Jin Gook and Yu Ri descend is really significant. This goes back to Jin Gook deciding not to reveal everything to him. While he is passionate about being an officer, he's still quite innocent/naive and lacks the mental capacity for more serious cases.
I don't think I'm ready for yandere/jealousy wars next week. I really cannot stand Woo Sang or Seung Ah's mother; they're such pretentious prideful rich scum.
I love Jin Kang and Jin Gook's interactions; their small petty arguments are the best.
I'm still so conflicted on what Moo Young is thinking/what his intentions are, but I guess that's one of the mysteries that keeps me on the edge of my seat. The ost is also so eerie and fits so well with the scenes, especially ep 5 ending!
Am I the only one who's terrified that the MCs might actually be siblings?? I'm trying so hard not to spoil myself…
I have the same feeling, but I'm hoping they're not lol. I wouldn't be surprised though cuz incestual themes in japanese sources aren't too uncommon, but if it was like that in the original, I hope they change it.
ep 12 felt really slow and boring for me; I need them to reunite asap. I honestly don't care much about the politics in this show since nearly everyone in the palace annoys me.
I wasn't expecting much from this drama due to the low ratings, but it's actually really enjoyable, albeit cringe at times. But it's also a nice take on romance, very moving.
Although I liked SIG's other dramas slightly more, I think his acting here was one of his best. He conveyed the emotions by Min Suk really well.
It was cute seeing both Hong Shim and Won Deuk get jealous of each other with the gisaeng and the magician.
That aside...if nobody ends the vice premiere soon, I will personally jump into the drama and end him myself ugh.. how is it that trained assassins failed to take down 1 old man??? really?! Splitting up my poor babies Won Deuk and Hong Shim T T
was watching reply 1997 and they were watching sechs kies on tv, and I was like WAIT A MIN-
