I was really enjoying this up until everyone's personalities just started doing 180s for no reason??? Especially Yeo Jin, her character makes absolutely no sense right now. Why even show the previous flashback, to get us to sympathize for her? Clearly that wasn't the goal.
Also the romance took a huge jump out of nowhere--and rip Ji Hyo didn't wanna kiss back;; that was so awkward...
I've seen Yang Se Yong in three dramas so far. The first one, Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim, I thought the role…
I'm sorry, but it seems you have already an established opinion on Yang Se Jong before giving his dramas any chance. To call a drama overrated because of an actor without even watching it is just absurd.
Furthermore, Yang Se Jong worked his way up to getting main roles. He started off with support roles in 2016, so I'm not sure where your basis of these comments come from:
>but to see that he raised to stardom in exactly a year doing 4 dramas as a lead >i do not like actors who do not start with small roles and train themselves then get a lead role after proving their talent
Please don't watch his dramas if your opinion on him is already so negatively established before watching them. It just sounds like self fulfillment. I don't want to tell others how to watch dramas, but watching dramas to confirm disdain for an actor sounds really pitiful.
I'm sorry if this comes off as offensive or if I misunderstood the context of your post, but from the way I am reading it, it really sounds like you think Yang Se Jong is undeserving of his success without fully seeing his acting, which I find really unfair on his behalf and/or any other actor in this position. Disliking someone's acting just because they're popular just doesn't make sense to me.
50 minutes of nonstop tears, but thank you for the ending in ep 14. It was a surprise to know Seo Ri also liked Woo Jin back 13 years ago.
I feel so bad for Jennifer... husband died in the accident and then her depression led to a miscarriage. So many people filled with guilt in drama, and I just want to hug them all and tell them none of it was any of their faults.
The action scenes are so well done! So hype when Lee Yool dodges those arrows. Also damn, not only is Lee Yool's tongue sharp, so is his mind. Exposing his wife's pregnancy like that. I think she got pregnant with the queen's son; that's why the queen's in on it.
Also finally comedy next week's episodes. The start was great, but I was hoping for more lightheartedness, so glad to see that in the preview for next week.
For those criticizing product placement in the latest episodes..
I don't think weight loss beverages are a problem--you're still getting the necessary nutrients you need. It's not like drinking those beverages also means you can't eat anything else; in fact metabolism boosting beverages encourage eating MORE.
I can't really say anything about the pills, since they're associated with Soo A, but the drama is definitely criticizing purging (forcefully throwing up).
SO. MANY. FEELS. episode 13 (25-26) I did not see all that coming at once. I was expecting it, but not over the course of 1 episode (26)! We've been getting so much fluff lately, I forgot this all started as a tragic event.
I'm glad Chan won, but boy...2 weeks of that swollen sprained ankle... take better care of yourself! Also yandere Chan was hilarious when interacting with Hyung Tae.
And...so many reveals! Finally the Hyung Tae and Seo Ri meet. I feel so bad for Hyung Tae. Imagine devoting 13 years of your life for unrequited comatose love, only to have her not even recognize you. I know he's coming off a bit strong given her situation, but I still really feel for him! I hope he ends up happy. Him lying about her uncle and aunt and Su Mi is understandable too, but I'm glad she at least found out about Su Mi sooner than later. (which speaking of, I wonder what her aunt did in the past to have such trauma as well..)
And finally! Mr. Gong finally realizes it's Seo Ri and not Su Mi from the past. I fully expected him to bear all the guilt after finding out, but omg that preview...? MR. GONG DON'T GO T T... everything going straight south after finally getting progress towards happiness.
We've had our run of fluff, it's time to let the drama hit us. We still have Jennifer's tragic past as well. Brace yourselves!
It`s my first time watching Im Soo Hyang and she is really impressive in portraying her role, especially her body…
well I can say it's not just because you're a man; the side male characters are so two dimensionally exaggerated. It was like this from the start, but I just had hopes they would...you know, at least somewhat improve? but they're trash from start to finish.
At least we have KS and WY to rely on for not being complete scum.
Also the romance took a huge jump out of nowhere--and rip Ji Hyo didn't wanna kiss back;; that was so awkward...
I do like his current picture though.
