The drama is cute and fluffy, but I couldn't stand the male lead's voice when singing for some songs... (notably that grab song)--the rest of them were great though.

Aside from them skipping over a lot of details, the movie does portray the general storyline of the webtoon more like you said, largely because the writer actually made the script this time.
That being said, the drama had way more of a dark undertone. They completely glossed over the darker side of Yoo Jung in the movie, which is understandable given the constrained time.

Thank you! It's funny because people are fine with bestiality when the person in interest looks like a human as well. People are fine with vampires, werewolves, etc. but a robot, and so many people complain.
Romance and love don't always have to be sexual; the feelings between NS3 and So Bong are genuine, and that's all that matters.
I'm kind of annoyed at ep 11. The writing got a bit worse, or maybe I'm just less tolerable cuz Ms Yoon was kidnapped. Hope ep 12 makes up for it. I wouldn't have minded as much, but then Ms Yoon also got hurt so I couldn't stand it.
Like my major gripes with ep 11:
- Tae Joo noticed clear signs with fake Officer Lee - Tae Joo completely forgot his meet up with Ms Yoon regardless of time changes - The first thing that Tae Joo should've remembered after finding out Officer Lee was the prime suspect was that she got in contact with him earlier - Officer Lee didn't even bother hiding his identity when attacking other officer - no background checks done before becoming an officer???? I suppose it's 1988 so I can definitely let this one slide, but still...
Ugh, I really hope Yoon is ok; she's my favorite character.

The characters were enjoyable at least, though some very annoying. I especially loved Hee Kyung and the little brother.
Overall 8/10. I kind of had super high expectations, so was /slightly/ disappointed, but still satisfied.

NS3 is the cutest when he's jealous for So Bong! "So Bong is my person and mine alone." You tell him!
The writing was a lot better when we didn't know who the killer was, but now I feel like things are moving due to plot (in)convenience.
I hope today's ep redeems the characters.
The part that really bothered me was how he kept calling her fatty(?) or something, and it was really getting on my nerves orz
I think I'll try finishing someday though, Nam Joo Hyuk has grown on me, and I love Lee Sung Kyung
