I actually skipped most of their parts cause it was becoming so annoying to see that guy like loads but tbh this show has pointed out sexual harrasment and other stuff many times irrespective of gender so it would be weird if they would show rape cause it would be hypocritical. So, I guess your interpretation is right.

Anyways so basically episode 22 and 23 were so emotional and grip tightening. I loved it. I really wonder if scorpion is the son of that ghost lady because that's what I am believing as of now. Wen ke xing's talk with cao Wei Ning was really emotional exactly how dads talk to their son in laws. It was refreshing to see the way he gave xiang's hand to Wei Ning. The way Zhou Zhi Shu wiped blood from his lips even though he doesn't like the idea of blood on his clothes shows his affection for WKX pretty clearly.
