Oh no using doesn't mean that you won't feel things. Here for the writers it means to go through it. So for writing the novel if it means for him to start liking him. He is experiencing it at his own pace. Love, hate, pain everything you feel them ummm just like the movie method.

I have a feeling that they are using each other. He can't write until and unless he feels like how it is in pornographer. So as a writer you need to go through to be able to write about it and that's what gene is doing. While the other is trying to feel closer with the writer to get a better understanding for his own character. So, while doing this both will actually end up falling in love with each other.

ABSOLUTELY!!! Even I am liking it more tbh. Especially because they are not exactly good guys. They have killed loads of people. Like loads and they can't be called nice guys in any way at all. It's just so contradicting to their personalities. One killed for duty while the other for I guess some hidden revenge. And they don't even want to be heroes or something. They are just nobodies who travel together with hidden intentions and high clas martial techniques but never use it to protect people rather only the ones they feel attached to. I like them more because of how one flirts cunningly and openly while the other is slowly opening himself to him and flirts as well but in a tender and nonchalant way. The chemistry is absolutely very appealing and exciting. You just love them for who they are.

He talked about being honest before fighting, removed his mask and even after getting out he talked about WKX not revealing his identity when he already did.
