She made a promise to ML's brother to help him as a way to repay her mother's debt ( the brother being executed).
Her illness we got the answer to today (17), he has been noticing things were off but he finally got confirmation that she is hallucinating the maid. And basically without using modern language it is a problem with the heart not head so the treatment is making her not feel lonely anymore.
Preview seems to show ML spending more time with her.
My suspicion is he is starting to question the letters she is writing to Lishan and will investigate those next.

So the final dish is the one from his mom's stall right using the skills he learned on leave. I can't wait for tomorrow's episode at the same time I don't want this to end.
ML's face at the end was so heartbreaking.
I need another season, I don't even need a outarching plot like the spoiled ingredients. Just more the boys cooking cause I love our team of 3.

Have you checked out Love Scout. Female boss and single dad secretary. Its more cute than funny. A little bit more heavy at times and not office setting but Can this love be translated? Leading actress and ml who works as translator on her show.

I'm with you. I dont usually like palace politics but this one, there are no scenes i am skipping.

Overall i did really like this one and went into not having any real expectations. This was a cute slice of life youth drama.
I do think the school years could have been a little shorter (did we really need ML to suffer that much).
I kinda didnt like their first meeting as adults. I think it could have been better and the reason for FL deleteing their contact in between for 5 years was weak.
I also think there were too many flashbacks in the last episodes.
But we got a HE for all the characters and their relationship was cute in the end.

I dont think they have said when express package will release but the guess is Wed since express is usually around 4 or 5 episodes. And you have to pay for the express or else you will get usually only 1 a day.

I feel like I've dropped so many lately including several before i even started. This is genuinely one i look forward to. Part of it might be not binge watching it.

I started this on a whim not expecting much but i am not ready for next week to be the final episode.

Episode 22 pissed me off. I am tried of dramas that cant allow a single moment of happiness. The business is making money, the mom isnt causing anymore issues, debt is paid. No enemies at the moment (i guess the gang guy the one with the stolen goods is still a future problem- he set the fire didn't. It cant just be an accident). They cant even enjoy new years and fireworks without a freaking fire to burn literally everything down.
I am ready for youth episodes to be over because how much more trauma does ML need and move into the adulthood one which better not just be the last episode.
On to episode 23.

I thought this was a cute youth drama. While i do think the secrets betweeb ML and FL especially FL were weak and should hav been shared. The 2ML was just annoying til the end and unnecessary like most 2ML. The 2nd couple on the other habd was sweet and this is coming from someone who habitually fast forward to 2nd couples. The ending which ML leaving (i am so sick and tired of one of the leads always having to go abroad for X reason). Made the ending to short.

Im not done yet but 2ML is so much better. I have never had 2ML syndrome but Qingfeng is so sweet compared to Situ. I know she will end up with ML but come on if she can make the book ML and FL break up why cant she end up with 2ML. There scenes are so much better.

Edit: i still think that qingfeng w a s better in the novel than Situ now that i have finished. I'm glad we got to see Qingfeng with his own happily ever after and i chose to believe that he is going go on with his love.
That being said i did like He Tianxing much more than Situ.
I also skipped all the company business stuff entirely.

This should have been right up my alley but it just didnt hold my attention. It took me a while to get through it because i wasnt engaged enough to want go continue. The plot summary is great the actual execution isnt. I was ready for things to wrap up but it just kept going.

Watched the manipulated and i liked it but this was better. It was great seeing him with a team to help him. The side characters were better in this one. The action was well done.

Agree on business proposal. I watch that just before this one and i definitely like ML and FL better in that.

Towards the end this felt like a chore to get through at 2x speed.
ML constant narcissism never got better, i kept waiting for him to improve because honestly other than him being persistent i cant see why FL likes him.
FL ending felt weak. Didnt really care for the side characters, honestly only reason i didnt drop is because 16 episodes at 2x isnt really that long and i wanted to complete after how many episodes i got through.

This was really well done for a mini with episodes only 3-5 minutes long they really made every minute count in this time travel drama. Honestly this made me want to check out when i fly towards you which hasn't even been on my to be watched list.

This took longer than i thought for me to get through. I liked JCW but its like they wanted to go bigger just for the sake of it and just keep beating JCW. It started to feel very dragged out and like it needed to just wrap up. I mean how many stab wounds can one man survive. And how many people can one man shoot with a nail gun and yet not kill anyone apparently?

I watched this for JCW and while i get this is slice of life and therefore going to be slower there was alot that could have been better.
I get that most viewers are women and that female audience is what they are aiming for but i am getting tired of the ML whose entire world revolves around FL. ML is the greenest flag but he put his whole life on pause for FL's mom who doesnt care about her own well being. Pining after a girl who has for all purposes moved on in her own words with many men. The multiple men being in love with the girl. I didnt like the older sisters character or her exes character so i guess whatever that they got together. Why are we wanting to but a theme park on a beautiful landscape that is already attracting tourists and tourism money? I feel like if we need to have a second romance the younger sister and dolphin guy should have been built more, the young widow. The friend group was annoying. I mean how much can a group drink. I get korean drink culture but this entire show was excessive. JCW i need the next one to be better.

Continuing my watch of all things JCW. While not Healer or K2 i did enjoy this. It was funny, the mystery crime was good overall. The office team worked well. JCW in the glasses and slicked back hair.

Watched healer first even though this was on my watchlist first. While the romance was better in that one I am really liking JCW and his actions scenes.
Not a huge politically girly and i think the best romance moments were in the FMV on youtube but still good overall.
