Expect the budget of this adaptation is lower than 2014 version. The highest budget of ROCH is 2006 version and the news was coming constantly from the beginning of filming to airing. This 2020 version is like the crew don't even care to promote it because they know nobody will watch it. Hard time for Jin Yong's adaptations these days.

The good news is this show may air this year. It already passed censorship in China in January. People predict the air time is September (currently doesn't have any slot because of all those hot shows).

We always need a new adaptation because the previous adaptations still doesn’t reach the original novel. You may think “no way, after that many adaptations?”, but if you read the novel, you will know what I meant.

I didn’t pay attention to the show because my video source is only 480, every scene is a big mess of pixels, really frustrated to watch.

Basically, Mu Jin overheard Fei Bai said he loves Jin Xiu (on behalf of his twin brother) and he said he likes Mu Jin, too. Looks like Mu Jin misunderstood Fei Bai loved both sisters. After that Fei Bai’s father ordered Mu Jin to marry Fei Bai as an concubine (that’s probably pisses her off), Fei Bai didn’t propose to Mu Jin. And Fei Bai’s father forces Mu Jin drink a poison pill that will kill her if she betrays Fei Bai to make sure Mu Jin won’t harm Fei Bai and have to help him with her knowledge to survive. Combine all of those things above, it’s understandable why Mu Jin is currently very hate Fei Bai and Fei Bai still hasn’t told her the truth about his twin brother.

This sitcom drama is a mess. Sorry for my bad English.

Episode 17: I like how Fei Bai comes back and makes a serious face just to kiss Mu Jin. Didn’t expect he is that aggressive.
