Oh! I totally get the confusion. I also understood after reading the book. The book has a clear scene, I Recommend you to read the book, it's Amazing. I understand it was not properly filmed but implied through various scenes in ep 52. They never had a proper ceremony but registered when they were in Aranya's dream so they were married, that why when she fought in ep 52 at the sword hiding ceremony , Donghua was referred to as Prince consort and he could fight as Fengjui and him were married. But, Donghua can be everything but Stupid. He hid things from Fengjui to avoid conflict as they had slim chance according to destiny.

I think it leans more towards all tropes and stereotypes. Bt still convincing to some extent. Also, the story is he can't be surrounded with many ppl or get intimate other that the FL.. so

It is a one time watch, bt depends if you like rom-com, fluff then maybe.. jst watch a few ep becoz I am also not a major fan of this drama.
