Well, i once thought of putting the drama on hold after 4 episodes....I am glad i didn't do it. Well, my case was like this.... The drama seemed to be right up my alley and the first episode was as expected... setting the stage for the conflicts to come. But then I didnt like the scholor guy arc (never thought his character will have a 180° turn after few episodes) and some many other things. But epi 5 sort of made my graph stable which otherwise was going downward. Then i waited for some more episodes for the story to be built... those episodes won't make you hate them even if you don't find anything to love. But trust me once you reach 14/15 you will have the extreme urge to bingewatch..just go with the flow...and when you reach mid twenties.... you will at last feel like you have had a sip of an excellent wine...but better things await you....This is what happened with me. Hope you will give it another try particularly since you are at epi 5. Well i did have a bias to begin with. ZRY<3.

In case of a face off, it will be a younger Fan Xian against an older fan xian...when fighting your own reflection....who will win? Moreover who should i side with....two favs for a single character thats a first for me....thanks to JOL

They are still very young. Long way to go. I have this weird idea that xu xiao publicicing they are eniemies is to give the emperor an oppurunity to interfere. The emp can betroth XFN and JN to each otehr thinking they are enemies.. while planning to take care of Xu Xiao via JN.... it seems simple though.. am just guessing..
